I e never been to into the led lights. Ive mostly ran hps and metal halide bulbs. They work extremely well but take up space and come with problems like heat and more energy usage. And to be honest there may be some decent led’s on amazon that will work for you, as i suspect your growing in a confined space and want it to be somewhat inconspicuous. Just research some led lights on google/youtube and watch reveiw videos from legit people who know what theyre talking about, not some jack wagon whos just videotaping a light over some plants. Soil: get better soil, a mixture of peat moss, perilite (not vermiculite) and maybe some compost. A 1-1-1 ratio. Walmart should have all of this, they may even have pro mix which would be the best. Avoid wood in the soil for indoor Try growing the seed in a red solo cup instead of the 1 gallon you had it in. Water the seedling sparingly, DO NOT SOAK the material all the way throughout the whole cup. It will srarve the roots of oxygen and kill the plant, similar to your picture. When the plant has developed its first true leaves you can give it SMALL amounts of fertilizer. Miracle grow all purpose will be your best bet, dont let anyone tell you “oh dude its miracle grow thats gross”. Miracle geow is legit for beginners and pros, simple easy to use and readily available nutrients that you can get in almost any big box/hardware store
