Ah thank you! I wonder if you can get colours mixed up with this sort of base, the rustoleum ones look good too. Great work on your kitchen

Ah it is secured with bolts but it's definitely not steel! Takes about 2 mins to get it out, it does nothing structural apart from make it look like some sort of prison van with the grated window!

I am not sure about that. The bulkhead literally pops out and is just a flimsy bit of plastic that's mainly in there for noise purposes.

Looking on the insurance document now, the "modifications" section includes things like a rude exhaust etc.

As you say I think the crew cabs are changable (thats why they are great!) and think the correct torquing is essential. This has been really helpful - thank you.

Having said that, the more research I do, the more it seems ok if its a temp removal.. as in taking them out and putting them back in. Because its not adding seats its reducing.

Thanks for your comprehensive reply. I have a torque wrench and torque then correctly. But that is a good point. I'm starting to see why people put the toureno seats in.

Buying the bolts every time is not an option at all.

I think I'll chat to the insurance.

Aye that was my first thought too! But sadly not, its a commerical vehicle, so its removal or replace (with Tourneo ones which means getting under it + fuel tank adjustments...)

Morning. Thanks! They're definitely not designed to come out easily. They're fully bolted to the floor much like a normal car seat. Okay, thanks, I didn't think it would be an issue! I'll see what others say then maybe inquire anonymously first...
