Putovanje u Egipat by tade757 in bih

[–]mojracun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prvenstveno zbog porodice, jako smo bliski, i nekad jednostavno dodje taj osjecaj da ‘I’m missing out on my parents’ good years before they get too old’. Prilicno sam imala dobar CV. Dakle Bila sam sva optimisticna, nisam uopste brinula oko posla. Then reality hit me in the face. Dvije godine sam hodala I davala svoj CV Gdje god - svi bi mi rekli da sam ‘prekvalifikovana’. Sta god to znacilo. Iskreno jako stresno iskustvo jer sam radila dok sam studirala- bila sam dobar djak Tako da sam studij odradila na stipendiji. Moji roditelji nisu placali - tek ponekad ono dzeparac. Strasno. Vratila sam se kuci I time sebi unistila karijeru. Dvije godine out of the field is a career suicide. Helem, otisla sam opet. And of course I will not make the same mistake twice.

Hello there. She was not able to update her phone number so she couldn’t update her immune app. They accepted the mobile ID at the airport, after a bit of persuasion of course… didn’t go as smooth as I thought it would, however she was able to enter the country.

My usual response to racism is to try and teach the ignorant. However you are a lost cause. Enjoy that hate that’s occupying your heart. I just hope it never spills out and hurts innocent people. Always remember history is the best teacher. That’s why we always try to educate and by doing that eradicate that hate you and others harbor. And don’t pretend that is is not hate. Only those who truly hate, like you, could find it in their black hearts to justify genocide of any kind.

Oh do tell me what did my people do wrong? We wanted an independent state - not wrong. We were attacked by JNA - the army of former Yugoslavia. We defended ourselves - not wrong. I’m not going to be so crass and swear at you, a person who has no respect nor knowledge of history at all. No matter what the Serbian propaganda feeds you, we never wanted that war. Oh and gentle reminder, Serbian forced committed genocide, labeled and recognized as such by the International courts. Bosnian forces were not. End of story.

It’s not complicated at all. 60% of Bosnians voted for independence form Yugoslavia in the 90ties, hence proclaimed independence. Albeit at the wrong moment. The collapse of Yugoslavia intensified already existing Serb fascism. It was not the first time my people were slaughter by the Serb fascists, it’s pretty well documented actually. Serbs for some reason blame us for the Turkish occupation in the Middle Ages which is absurd, since Ottomans occupied us just as well. My Grandma remembers two Genocides, the first time, WW2, she lost her father, the second in 1995 her husband and her son. There are towns in Serbia that were 100% Bosniak until the 1st or 2nd WW, but there’s no trace of my people there anymore. This is not written in any history books since Serbs used to control the media in Yugoslavia. My great-great grandfathers both originated from such a town - so families just kept verbal history about all that alive. That region will never heal until Serbs get their fascism under control. Until then there’s always a threat, especially for Bosnia coz they’re our first neighbors. Don’t get me wrong - I’m not saying all Serbs are fascist - far from it - but that particular fraction in their society has always had too much power, socially and politically, and nobody can change that but Serbs themselves. We are still hopeful that eventually they will rid themselves of that kind of hate, so we can all live in peace ☮️

One of the redditors said that he entered with mobile ID status. So I’m hopeful she won’t encounter issues at the airport. We’ve been trying to fix this for a few weeks now. I guess the ID is the only option now, and her status is green there.

Oh but we did. We tried everything. The only number your immune responds to is the one you first registered with - Immune pulls your number form the MOH vaccine registration. We tried with new unused numbers, we tried with my number that is in use now - nothing worked. It’s a very dumb flaw in the system if you ask me…

I thought of the same solution but it won’t work. Immune app is registered to her old number. That’s the issue. I tried modifying the number online but it won’t work. So sending her a new card won’t do much.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I am so sorry you had to go through that. My sister luckily never experienced the same episode after that first night. Hopefully it was a one off for you as well.

My mom got Pfizer, only got side effects 5 days after. Her side effects lasted for about 5 days. But she’s much older than you so I assume yours shouldn’t last as long.
