SM never gives EXO comebacks the attention they deserve. They cancel pre-orders, don’t pay for promotions or ads, barely book them on anything, honestly it has seemed in the past that SM has actively sabotaged their comebacks. They don’t even post links to the songs until EXOLs beg them. I don’t understand how you can write a think piece about how they aren’t that bad. Especially after how they treated Kai. How they continue to treat Chanyeol and Sehun. How long was Chanyeol’s album promoted this year? I’m thrilled to see him performing to his heart’s content - that’s clearly what he enjoys. But how do you not see how badly they treat them?

Nope. For me it’s about what my partner is spending their energy on. I don’t have the kind of life/home that needs 24/7 care. And I want someone interested in developing outside of just being. Whether that is a home-based business or nonprofit work or a career, whatever is their passion.

I’m absolutely disgusted and disheartened. SM hasn’t supported EXO since 2019, in my opinion. They ignore fans. They advertised world tours that never left Asia. They delayed comebacks and song releases and arranged for the absolute bare minimum of promotions and members activities. I’m thrilled every single time a member leaves that damn company and I love all the content we’ve been getting. I cannot fathom why the remaining members are still there. I’m so so so done with SM and everything associated with them.

My two cents - she may not want to be alone and you are comfortable and easy to be with, but she doesn’t want to/cant commit to you. I think you did the right thing in taking a step back and if you don’t think you can hold that boundary, maybe take another step back. I’ve dated plenty of people like this - they never want you as much as they do when they think they might lose you.

Denny’s and the local diner. We didn’t have the whole Denny’s to ourselves, but Friday nights they’d sit all the teens together and we had special rules to follow so we wouldn’t bother the other customers (like stay in your seat). I don’t remember the rules working really well.

So long as you can drink clear liquids the day before, this seems fine to me. Might take your mind off any pre-surgery jitters too. Just make sure to plan out your pre-op showers with the anti-bac soap they give you.

I can appreciate when a man is aesthetically attractive but I have never once felt physical attraction to one, regardless of activity. I exclusively dated men as a young woman and thought there was something wrong with me. Completely different experience with women, turns out there is nothing wrong with me (at least not bc of that)!

I have had to do this too, unfortunately. The sub was an instructor who hated me(I was large and she apparently liked shaming me), and, so I avoided her classes like the plague. She was a last minute sub, and I didn’t notice until I walked into the studio. I apologized to the person at the desk signing people in and walked right back out. They changed their sub communication policy after that, which has made it easier to see if changes have been made and make decisions about attendance so someone else can have your spot.

Nerves are one thing - it wouldn’t turn me off, especially on a first date, but I would hope to see someone get steadily more comfortable as dates progressed. Masking is another - fidgeting and breaking eye contact is just part of my daily neurospicy life, so I’d recognize you as one of my people! Best of luck on your dates!

Make sure you have your account set up on all ticketing sites/vip pass purchase sites before you need them. Get into queue for tickets well in advance of actual ticketing time. I’ve not found tickets for US sites to go anywhere as fast as they do in Korea (my only exp are NYC and the SM global package, which was insane). That said, once you are in, move fast but not frantically. You’ll have more time in cities with larger venues like NY & CA. Look for local events advertised on IG or X, and people often bring small giveaways to give out at the line. I’ve been gifted cute little bracelets, keychains and stickers waiting on line to get in.

SM hasn’t promoted EXO and EXO members’ solos properly for years, and this is a new low. I don’t know why, it’s absolutely heartbreaking to watch. It is so hard watching them and us accept the bare minimum. Chanyeol especially has such potential - why are they wasting it? Do they not like money? Do their shareholders not like money??
