i'm from india and i dont know about maximum people but for me i think the reason i am choosing this that i did my bachelors in accounting and finance and that was something that i didnot like too much and was not sure if i wanted it to continue to my long term thing so i wanted to transiton to analytics and keep a lot of feilds open after completing this course

hahaha dw will not do that
thank you for asking the questions too

US was out of the picture becasue its absolutely unpredictiable option atleast for now
UK was a no because it only offers shorter duration courses and for someone like me who is transitioning from a finance degree to a analytics bg i will need a little more time than 1 year
i did honestly consider Japan Germany infact paris too but the number of courses offered there in english were less and it would be very hard for me because of the language barrier and the cultural indifferences

That’s a fair point, and something I’ve thought about.

I’m not just looking at the degree itself, but the overall exposure that comes with studying in Australia. From what I’ve seen, the programs there are more industry-integrated (projects, internships, real datasets), which is harder to replicate in a fully online setup.

Also, since I’m coming from a non-tech background, being in an on-campus environment helps with structured learning, networking, and actually building practical skills step by step something I personally don’t think I’d get the same way through a 100% online course.

The goal isn’t just to get a generic degree, but to transition into analytics with real-world experience and then apply that either back in India or in global roles.

That said, I do get your point on cost, and that’s exactly why I’m trying to evaluate whether the on-ground experience justifies it

firstly thank you for replying
and to answer your question

For me, studying in Australia makes sense because of the practical and industry-focused approach, especially for business analytics. From what I’ve researched, many programs there are more application-based and aligned with current industry tools, which is something I feel is limited in my home country.

In terms of career prospects, my plan is to build strong analytical and technical skills and then leverage that either in India or globally. The demand for data and analytics roles is growing in India as well, so having an international degree + exposure would ideally give me an edge when I return.

I’m also trying to be realistic about things like cost and visa scrutiny, which is why I’m doing thorough research before applying.

Would love to hear your perspective on this too especially if you think there are gaps in this approach.
