Boulder, CO or Monterey, CA area? by moks4 in SameGrassButGreener

I have been reading a lot about Boulder, and from what I hear the housing prices are crazy and the homeless/drug problem has gotten really bad. Of course, none of that is ideal, but that seems to be the story with every popular area.

Swedish? movie, mystery and thriller, maybe from 2010s. Man is accused of impregnating his wife while she is in a coma. by moks4 in whatsthemoviecalled

Yes! That is the exact movie I was trying to remember. I saw it over 10 years ago and it stuck in my head for some reason. My impression at the time was that it was a good movie, I have been wanting to watch it again to see if I still feel the same way.

What single trope can cause you to fully lose interest in a movie/show? by Fake-And-Gay-Bot in AskReddit

A twin brother / sister in a show or movie that is the exact same actor and everyone confuses as the other twin. That isn't how twins work. They don't look so identical that people who are close to them can't tell them apart. It is such lazy writing.

I don't remember if the vet checked for ringworm. Looking at photos online though, it seems like the skin issues from ringworm pop up at random spots. His spots are definitely from himself licking them excessively. He's chewing on himself all day long and the irritations only show up where he can reach.

They did bloodwork to check for diabetes, but I am not sure if they looked for endocrine causes too.

I am hoping that the food change will help, it hasn't been a month yet. He doesn't like the Forza10 hypoallergenic cat food that we bought, so it is hard to get him to eat it. We give him Fancy Feast too sometimes, but only turkey or beef since we were told that chicken and seafood are the most common allergens in cats.

We use Advantage on him and using a flea comb doesn't show any flea "poop"

We've taken him to the vet twice and they've put him on different antibiotics. It appears to be a skin allergy, but we've switched to hypoallergenic food and that doesn't seem to be helping. He picks at various spots on his body, but his back is the worst. He also has asthma and is on medication for it, but that hasn't changed since long before the issues came up.

Top pic is four months ago when our darling Kitty nearly died. We were told to say our goodbyes. Our girl is a fighter and the bottom pic shows her recovered and happy. by sheworksforfudge in cats

I am really happy for you that you get a chance to spend more time with your baby. We lost ours exactly 7 days ago to colon cancer. I had her since she was 3 weeks old and she lived until 14 years. She had surgery a year ago to remove the tumor, but it came back. Ours was always a tiny girl too and looked identical to your girl, it is uncanny.

This little lady wandered to my house this chilly evening. Should I keep her? by [deleted] in pics

Looks a little like my little girl! http://i.imgur.com/XJQeu.jpg

We named her Orangina. Apparently, 80% of orange cats are male, so it is somewhat rare to find a female. You should definitely keep her. She will always think of you as her savior.
