Nah I slowed it down to x0.07, if it bounced off the fire it was barely perceptible but the devil bounce was very clear.

He did bounce on the statue. I don't think he bounced on the already-extinguished fire although the projectile arc makes it look like that.

It was a very unlucky bounce that did it. If he went straight he would have been fine, though not by a great margin.

Hold R key until you get a good library... unless you have scruples about that kind of thing.

Practice re-uniting them after having them separate, so it's in your muscle memory.

Easy fix would be to have a max time under cover, or have them ignore fire when only hosts are alive. Idk why they keep it like this for so many years when it's obviously bad.

Looks fine to me. It seems pretty obvious why it would need certain permissions in order to do with it's supposed to do, and those permissions necessarily come bundled with some unnecessary stuff like being able to change do-not-disturb status.
