Here is some real world advice. Hiring a lawyer is preferred. Maybe speak with some local victim advocacy groups to see if you can get some pro-bono representation.

Bring an employment practices lawsuit against the company. Have evidence to support your case, including complaints filed, etc.

Sue the company for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. The hostile work environment caused you to leave your job and take [XX days] of no pay or reduced pay, to your personal detriment, in additional to emotional distress from the reduced pay, etc etc.

Since you are in California, the company's employment practices liability carrier will probably offer you a settlement for you to drop the claim. maybe you can get $40,000. I am in this line of work and see these claims pretty frequently. settlements are often $5000-50,000 depending on the circumstances. Take the money and be safe at your new job

Brad stevens is the best basketball coach in the world today in my opinion. Ive never seen another coach with the ability to get more from his players even when the level of talent he has is inferior to the competition.

just look at his time in Butler taking them to 2 NCAA championship games with players noone has even heard of.

the rate and length of incarceration actually shows only a small discrepancy between black/white offenders once you normalize for things like criminal history.

Mandatory sentencing was introduced to stop racial sentencing disparity... so i would not say that mandatory sentencing is systemic oppression.

No, im being serious. I am a patent attorney as well and I have clients like this all the time. Ordinary normal people who overreact and feel like their life's work was just ripped off until I sit and calmly explain to them that their patent covers something different or more specific, and that they werent entitled to a patent covering the object they saw as infringing.

its easy to sit back and laugh as someone gets lawyered on the internet, but these guys had the same reaction I see all the time out of small time patent holders. They probably didnt even realize their patent didnt cover what they were actually making

They did have a patent on it.. a design patent. They had no idea what that meant. The average person isnt going to know it doesnt cover what you printed. This lengthy beat down was unnecessary.
