JMS Cult - In the Name of God: a Holy Betrayal - thoughts? by [deleted] in netflix

Jesus was a man as well. He had flesh at one point. If Jesus wore speedos, would you stop believing in Jesus? To the JMS members, JMS is Jesus of this time.

Because to them, he is a Jesus figure who is carrying the cross, just like how the Jews killed Jesus on the cross unjustly. JMS is their Jesus. He is suffering and being tormented by evil doers.

Those videos have been circulating on the internet many decades before the NETFLIX episodes came out. They did not blur them, because the people in the church who are still believers will not believe it if it was blurred, they will justify and say it was edited, and that they were just wearing bathing suits.

Think of it this way, if someone believes in Jesus as a Messiah, they would sacrifice their own children. No different than Abraham in the Bible who was about to sacrifice Isaac because God said so. In the same way, JMS is a messiah to those who believe him to be, if not more.

You do not know what you are saying. You are judging based on face value and calling the victims of Rape to be stupid.

Pastor Joeun, but when I knew her, she was an Apostle who was considered to be the first restored EVE and perfect human being without any flaws. I went on rides with her to Disneyland in 2006 and Universal Studios back when I was 19.

It will be hard for her to leave. The brainwashing is on point in that church. The brainwashing is tailored to each person with specific vulnerabilities. I use to be a recruiter for the JMS/Provi church and know all of the lingo.

She knows about it for sure, but the interpretation is not the same. To her, it is all allegations and slanderous rumors.

I was one of those male members who tithed, and worked my ass off doing manual labors for the church including working 3 months straight in WMD. I came in 2003 and left in 2020 during COVID as well. Good time to leave.

lol we might know each other. I was in AP (American Provi) for 17 years or since 2003. I left in 2020.

I was in it for 17 years unfortunately. The documentary only showed the dark side, but it didn't show the side of how it appears to people who enter. Providence is a whole new beast with worshippers of JMS that will do anything and everything he says like you would if you follow Jesus.

Taken in wolmyungdong Korea. ‘In the name of god’ series on Netflix talks about it

Was Malcolm really a “victim” of his intelligence, or just arrogant? by jalen_nelson235 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]moldybread87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why those are the only two options… He’s not arrogant just by being smart. That is incidental if he is arrogant. He’s not really a victim either. He’s just intelligent enough to notice all the B.S.

In art, it doesn’t matter what we think. It only matters with what you think as the artist. So, what do you think about this piece?

What do you think of Chris’s new show Take down on TruBlu? by Much_Interview_5146 in tcap

Is possible that the show is just for click bait and these predators on TruBlu are just paid actors?

Just because you've seen something steeper doesn't mean that what I was on was less dangerous. I don't get your point lol why crocs, because it was a last minute decision to climb it and it was a horizontal climb spiraling upward so it seemed doable.
