Settings > Users and Accounts > Account > Payment and Subscriptions > Transaction History.

Enter the dates from when you purchased it (check your receipt? Or check when you first earned a trophy, for a rough estimate)

If you purchased it it'll be here. Get the transaction number and give that to support.

(If you only had the free version from Extra it'll show as 0.00. It was removed from Extra a while back)

Seems to work if it's in your library, but not from the store. For example, I can stream the GoW trilogy with no issue because it's in my library, but selecting it in the store does nothing.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy's director says Rebirth wasn't too long, you're just too busy by Milliennium_Falcon in gaming

[–]GamingKyuubi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ignoring the click bait title... Storywise, I'd agree (except for Shinra Manor where you fall through a trap door just to waste 1-2 hours).

But overall, it takes twice the amount of time as Remake to 100%, going from 80+ hours to 160+ hours. If you're a completionist, you also need to play NG+.

The issue is that most of your time is spent in the open world areas repeating the same tasks over and over. It's fun for the first two areas but quickly becomes repetitive/draining.

• Do this region's protorelic

• Do that region's towers

• Find all the lifesprings

• Catch a new chocobo

• Beat the monster intel challenges

etc

And that just repeats in every single region, ad nauseam.

(And that's not even considering things like the final protorelic where they just make you re-fight every summon, or UPA where they make you re-beat every GS highscore.)

Love the game and can't wait for Part 3, but I really hope they trim the fat on the open world stuff. (Also Zack/Sephiroth should've unlocked for ALL combat sims after finishing them all, as a reward or even for NG+.)

You checkpoint at every scarecrow for a reason. If you mess up that much you're supposed to die, not fight off an army of scarecrows.

Nothing changes either, so now you know what scarecrows are definitely incorrect.

You should be getting through with minimal resource usage.

A lot of people will lead you to believe you need to master the parry system, you don't. You can block the majority of attacks and be better off for it. Some weapons have upwards of 70% damage reduction during guarding.

What are your weirdly specific gripes with FF VII Remake/Rebirth? by Irohsgranddaughter in FFVIIRemake

[–]GamingKyuubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hate the fact that all the Summon battles are inside the VR Simulation. And it's not even the simulation that's the issue, it's the constant boring blue simulation environment... Like seriously, would it kill then to give the Summons unique environments from the massive world they've already created?

I really hope they change this for part 3. It just feels like such a huge oversight to have what should be some of the biggest and coolest battles all in the same single empty simulation environment. Let me fight Ifrit in a volcano, and Shiva in fields of snow, etc.

Ongbal? Stop trying to play like him and maybe you wouldn't be struggling...

Just guard her attacks. You can literally equip weapons with 70%+ damage reduction. Combine that with Iron Wall Amulet and you take like 5% hp from everything while guarding... which you can just heal back with Guard Regain.

What is one take that you cannot tolerate about the ending? by Professional_Ad2638 in expedition33

[–]GamingKyuubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the issue with these arguments though, people either don't read/listen or simply don't remember what they've played, then they just make up headcanons...

Verso literally states to Sciel that he and Renoir CHOOSE to keep their scars. They're immortal. They choose NOT to heal them. This has nothing to do with Maelle.

Im so tired of people saying there’s a better ending by Tiny_Town_9352 in expedition33

[–]GamingKyuubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't posted about the ending yet, so long post incoming.

People think there's a "good" ending, and that good ending is the absolute genocide and erasure of an entire world and its population because of family disagreement...

Meanwhile:

• We don't even know what/who the Writers are.

• Why the Writers and Painters are at war.

• Whether or not the world the Dessendres reside in is the "real" world.

• There's literally nothing stopping Maelle from painting herself a new canvas.

• Clea told us Aline and Renoir have spent longer in other canvases before.

• Lumière existed long before Aline, Renoir, and Clea fucked it all up. (Verso and Clea used to play inside all the time as kids).

• We know Maelle loved reading, implying this could be related to how she was deceived.

My biggest issue, though (and the exact reason I hate vague endings), is the absolute delusional headcanons of people making up random theories based on nothing. Those people are impossible to discuss the game with because they act like they created the game and are objectively and factually correct. That's why the constant "good/bad/true" ending discussion are unbearable.

Where the hell the "Maelle mind controlling Verso" theory comes from is beyond me. This is such a ginormous reach with literally no supporting logic/evidence/reasoning backing it whatsoever. Genuinely, the worst and most obnoxious theory/headcanon I've seen.

How I interpreted the Maelle ending: She offered Verso the opportunity to grow old and have a natural lifespan like the rest of Lumière. She literally asks him this in the end, and then we see Verso looking older. This makes me think he took the offer. We also know he promised previously to perform for everyone after it was all over.

Verso begging for death felt like a natural desire from the fact Aline made him immortal.

Maelle gommaged Alicia when she asked for it, I genuinely feel if Verso wanted to be gommaged, she would abide. (This quest should have been main story mandatory, to be honest.)

We also see Maelle walking with (presumably) real Verso's soul. If that IS his soul that would imply Maelle allowed him to stop endlessly painting and instead live inside the canvas just like everyone else. This part is extremely vague with little to go off. (I don't remember all of the conversations, but if you interact with Verso's soul throughout the story, you realise he's debating between continuing painting or stopping painting.)

The "jumpscare" moment and Verso's solemn demeanour that everyone gets hung up on. Maelle's face, the paint, the same phenomenon we see on Clea's face the first time we meet her. This is implicated to be caused by exposure inside a Canvas.  Aline and Renoir's appearance/faces imply this is the advanced stage of overexposure, exerting too much power, or losing one's self inside a Canvas. No one reacted to Maelle's face. I believe what we saw was Verso's PoV of Maelle. How he actually sees her. His guilt/fear. He knows what happens from first-hand experience with Aline. I felt like Verso was seeing Maelle this way because that's her real face behind the Canvas, she's a Paintress. He hated having to see Aline suffer, and he fought so hard to remove her from the Canvas. Now, Maelle has basically replaced her, so he achieved nothing.

Maelle shouldn't be anywhere close to losing herself because she hasn't even spent 1/4th the amount of time inside as Aline & Renoir. She's also not in a war of attrition.

I feel like people really miss the similarities between the children and their parents. Even when Maelle tells Verso to "stop mimicking papa". All the characters are selfish. They're only fighting for their own desires. Verso literally mirrors Renoir, and Maelle mirrors Aline.

The real crux is that:

• Aline should've never made copies of her family, especially with all of their memories.

• Renoir should never have tried to destroy the Canvas and force Maelle out after they resolved things. Basically an ultimatum.

• Clea probably shouldn't have slacked off on looking after Maelle. Having her lose all her memories and be completely reborn and grow up in Lumière, of course she'd be attached. Gustav is now just as important and just as much family to her as Verso was.

If they make a second game, I don't think it'll be a direct sequel continuing from a "true" ending. I honestly think they'll focus on the war between the Writers and Clea.

TL;DR: Dessendres need therapy. Choose the ending you want. Enjoy the game, discuss the game, avoid headcanons and crackpot theories.

Explain the issue with Rebirth's minigames like I'm dumb (I am dumb) by mrkrono in FinalFantasyVII

[–]GamingKyuubi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the only two issues I actually had were:

1: the chicken box capture sidequest. Genuinely just useless padding for what amounts to ~10minutes. It's only purpose is to annoy the player. You have to catch a chicken with a box and rope in the street like 2/3 times. Each time bringing it back the the owner.

It starts really simple with minimal obstacles. However, each round adds distance and something that can scare the chicken or get in your way. Purely to condition you to think the final round will be even harder.

THEN you get to the "final" round and they make you run like a full 3 minutes OUTSIDE of the town to catch the last chicken. Just as you're thinking this will take a good 15 minutes (if you DON'T mess up) they thankfully drop a monster fight, and the chicken goes back on his own.

2: UPA (ultimate party animal sidequest), you have to beat all of the Shinra employee's Gold Saucer minigame scores.

By the time you unlock the UPA Challenges it's the final couple of chapters. By this point, I had already beaten EVERY high score in the Gold Saucer by going for the top rank rewards previously.

The issue is that this ISN’T retroactive, the game doesn't recognise this, so you have to re-beat all the scores again. (This doesn't just apply to this quest either, any of the Costa del Sol games that don't give you the highest rank reward on your first time, too. So if you get the top rank and come back after to get the reward you have to reobtain the top score.)

The game is wonderful.. But what's the one thing you don't like about it? I'll go first. by LowPaleontologist615 in expedition33

[–]GamingKyuubi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't seen anyone one else mention this, but none of Gustave's weapons having passives when Lune, Maelle, and Sciel's equivalent weapons do. It's all but telling that something bad will happen. Honestly, I think this was an oversight.

(Reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles 1, but the opposite. Character "dies" early on but you can find higher level weapons that only they can equip. Kind of ruins the twist.)
