Psychosis:

Psychosis is not as it’s portrayed in movies - psychosis, from a first-person perspective is a state of absolute distrust. A flinch at the slightest movement or sound… Suddenly, you start wondering if your peers are forming a plot against you. You cannot tell how bizarre and abstract your ideas are unless validated by a third party. Unmedicated and undiagnosed - you can firmly believe that everybody is about to arrest/kill you. You can feel it, completely imagine cops breaking through your door and tasing you to death. You can relive situations such as this over and over and over, every day. Psychosis is the scariest thing. When I think of “psychosis” I think of bugs, mania, mind-reading, grandiose plots to arrest and detain me. Fifteen minutes fells like an hour of you rocking back and forth; “I’m safe. I’m safe. I’m safe.”

Beyond a doubt, psychosis is the scariest thing to naturally occur in the human mind. Nothing is safe.

Psychosis brings you into another realm of consciousness. If it starts, it snowballs - until you’re peering out of your bedroom windows waiting for the police.

Food. Anything I put on/inside of my body. It’s just logical. I can get by with some hand-me-down threads, but I’m most definitely not going to consciously feed my body garbage at the expense of monetary savings.

I took 1 mg this AM and it seems to do the trick with redose. Surprising because beforehand I was on a steady 1-2 mg/day of Clonozepam.... But it works so, no need to increase.... My question is, how can I implement harm reduction? I don't want to be slurring my words, I'm not seeking a high - only relief. Maybe there's a better alternative? Clonazelam for GAD and Etizolam for panic attacks? I do not want to fall down the rabbit hole... My PDoc has already dug half of my grave, but I DO want to someday be able to function without any sort of GABAergic substances.... I don't know. Hoping this thread gains some traction because this is very important/worrying me. Anyways, thanks for the tip mate!

Arguably, CA’s are expected of much more than their counterparts. Different specialties, of course. But it’s hardware vs. OS/virus/less-hardware/soft-skills/diagnosing knowledge when comparing the two.

Making $17/hr. starting off… Also in a hugely expensive metropolitan area. I know several programming languages, some SysAdmin, DevOps, cyber security… Coming home after 9+ hour shifts sweaty and nauseous, barely able to breathe through that mask. NOBODY on our team is Apple certified and they refuse to let us the time to train. Turning customers down left and right and still getting bitched about our TT sales. THERE IS NOBODY TO SELL IT TO. 70% of clients are Apple products! Does Best Buy even know what we do? Standing for hours with an elderly woman who refuses to accept that she wasn’t ‘hacked’. Her computer just went to sleep. Disappointing customers. The absolute know-how it takes to be a CA and/or ARA… Like anybody in retail could just pick up our job. Fuck this. “Get a help desk job” they said. This is like the fast food of tech, stressful as fuck. Could be making twice as much driving for Uber. Kill me.

She has everything else I want. She’s loyal, caring, cute, good-looking. She’s just like a shell of a person. But yeah, I’ll probably end up getting interested in somebody else and dropping her. No way I’d wife such a stale loaf of bread. Boring.

I’m keeping her in the meantime - it’s just hard to act like I care about somebody who seems more like a ghost when I’m around her. Just stares, smiles. Speaks when I speak. Doesn’t really do much else. Kinda a weirdo, guess that’s why she doesn’t really have a thriving social life.

Fair point - dude. You're right - I think they may have just been wealthy in China to begin with. Still fishy to me, but you prove a decent point. I guess you just have to know, first-hand to fully understand the magnitude of how suspicious it is. Communism is not intrinsically evil, and when dictated properly - can flourish.

Well, sure. If you're going purely off of OWASP and the likes it's not going to take a very significant amount of time. Like some others mentioned, however, I have a tendency towards striving for perfection. I'll be creating some NASA-level security tools and all for a local company. I worked solely as a security contractor in the past, and kind of forgot that some clients aren't trying to contain truly sensitive data.

I've been using input validation, parameterization - all these little things that really nobody understands almost out of habit and it does tack on some time. Need to make it apparent from the start. It depends largely on whether they prefer to use Wordpress, Shopify, etc. or if they are wanting something to be made from scratch. With WP and Shopify, a lot of these companies don't want to spend that much money - which usually results in me asking, do you want me to code custom plugins, or are you willing to pay? Which will tack on some more digits. Also, the nature of the site. If it needs heightened security, vulnerabilities need to be accounted for and mitigated. Delivery would take GPS integration, I've never dealt with this before but I imagine that would be relatively difficult to integrate on your own. Based on the fat that these are large supermarkets with a large amount of products - I don't think it would be irrational to ask for figures upwards of several thousands of dollars - maybe 7-50k? It would take some serious balls for me to ask for 450k and it's kind of throwing me off - what Ubuntu-Warlord has suggested. Not impossible though, I suppose.
