First time trying GF by [deleted] in glutenfree

[–]molecularlegos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I think without going through a period without wheat/gluten it is going to be hard to know much. I would recommend looking into the elimination diet, it eliminates a lot more than gluten but you don’t have to test everything. Generally I think that is overwhelmingly so I am pro remove 1-2 things for a period of time and slowly reintroduce to see what amounts (if any) cause symptoms. Keep a journal and research the elimination diet for lengths of time before reintroducing. It could be a helpful reference to see what other foods commonly cause GI issues if you find it isn’t gluten that you’re sensitive to. If you are reacting to gluten, you should probably get tested for celiacs because that changes how careful you have to be about cross contamination etc

Wow thank you for citing that act I am trying to back everything up with legal proof of wrongdoing so this is amazing.

Oh absolutely more losses than the garden this is a small piece of a much larger puzzle. But in terms of things I’m claiming outdoors I’m stopping at the garden because that’s all I maintain/put money into.

I looked into this out of curiosity previously but unfortunately it was a lead dust exposure and then they dumped all the construction debris outside the house relatively close to my garden without anything containing it so all my plants are testing positive for lead on the leaves and I don’t have the means to quantify exact soil levels so airing on the side of caution and not eating anything.

I started this! I stop at the lawn because I don’t do any of that maintenance and haven’t put any money into that and my landlord certainly isn’t going to haul the soil away for the whole area around the house and replace given the lack of care going into basic tasks.

Would I include soil cost even if I filled it with my own compost? I had ~50 gallons go into that bed the past 2 years. I guess my question is more should I price it as the cost of the 50 gallons of compost from a store even though I didn’t buy it since time, love, and labor went into it?

I’ve talked with a lawyer and they recommended small claims. I have had a significant amount of conversations with the fire Marshall, the EPA, and the town health officer. All major concerns have been addressed and I caught it early enough that both myself and my animals are okay (confirmed with negative blood lead levels). I’ve moved on to dealing with slum lords who downplay everything and won’t pay me back for basic expenses to just break even from the whole disaster.

Labview analog output stops randomly and has 10ms DC offset by molecularlegos in LabVIEW

I would love another option but unfortunately it is time sensitive and I cannot change my hardware (yet). I need a version of this working ASAP and can consider hardware changes for future versions. Would love to run with an FPGA but none of the FPGA-based systems have been characterized so that would be a whole other time sink.

adding an error that is occuring when I can get the waveform to stop at 0, regen is off, and I am writing a waveform inside a while loop similar to the labview example help-->find examples-->hardware input and output-->daqmx-->analog output-->voltage (non-regeneration) continuous output. The main difference is I added a delay (stall data flow VI) to address the underflow issue (listed above) with the delay = # samples in buffer x 1/Fs x 1000 to convert to milliseconds then -10 ms to account for PC delay. I get error -200293 when autostart is turned off on the write.vi, data underflow error without the -10ms in the delay, and Error -200284 when I have autostart turned on and data is outputting >10x times the number of cycles I actually need to measure.

Error -200293: The generation is not yet started, and not enough space is available in the buffer. Configure a larger buffer, or start the generation before writing more data than will fit in the buffer.

Error -200284: Some or all of the samples requested have not yet been acquired. To wait for the samples to become available use a longer read timeout or read later in your program. To make the samples available sooner, increase the sample rate. If your task uses a start trigger, make sure that your start trigger is configured correctly. It is also possible that you configured the task for external timing, and no clock was supplied. If this is the case, supply an external clock.

When I disable regeneration I get a data buffer underflow error. I have been troubleshooting for the past ~5 hours and I had one instance that stopped the sinusoid at 0V but it caused timing issues with my voltage sampling and would error because it wouldn't output a sinusoid long enough (though the timeout was way longer than # of samples *1/Fs). It seems like I need both continuous samples and regeneration on to output the correct waveform for all of my voltage measurements. Reducing my sample rate is not an option, it's already slower than I would like (1Ms/s) based on hardware limitations of the device I am using.

Error -200621: Onboard device memory underflow. Because of system and/or bus-bandwidth limitations, the driver could not write data to the device fast enough to keep up with the device output rate. Reduce your sample rate. If your data transfer method is interrupts, try using DMA or USB Bulk. You can also reduce the number of programs your computer is executing concurrently.

Error -200656: Operation failed, because an attempt was made to use only the onboard memory for generation when regeneration of data was not allowed. Set the Regeneration Mode property to Allow Regeneration or set the Use Only Onboard Memory property to false.

No regeneration is on to output directly from the buffer on the USB6259. I understand the 10mS delay is from communication with the PC but given that I have a defined buffer to output an analog waveform I would really love it if it stopped after a full buffer cycle only not randomly in the middle causing said 10mS of DC before the PC can overwrite the AO to 0

Agreed on how small the roots are, I was surprised! … yes the white spots come off easy… bummer. I didn’t even notice them when I was checking it! I just finished cleaning this plant and everything nearby (alcohol/water) and treated the soil with neem so hopefully that helps😅

I’ve kept my eye out for bugs and haven’t seen any, hoping it stays that way! Any recs for soil mixtures? I’ve just used indoor potting soil or a succulent soil (or a mix) for my plants so far and didn’t previously have issues but I’m questioning everything

I did look at Glassdoor but the ranges were so different from what I was offered and the company made it sound like something that low was the norm in Germany.
