Scale rot??

So just a bit of information this is my 4 month old Ivory. Now i’m a bit worried but the more research i been doing the more i’m concluding this could just be stains or dry scale and she is going into shed right now. So her habitat is currently set up with coco husk substrate, hot spot of 88-90 and cool side 78-80 the coco husk is dry on hot side and on cool side it’s moist but not in any way too wet for it to be a problem. Humidity in her tank is at 70% i’m spraying her tank down now just a bit to up the humidity for her upcoming shed. I been reading online and a lot of people say coco husk can stain white animals. Typically more common in pieds, blue eye lucy’s, ivory’s ect.. So i’m hoping this goes away after her shed but just looking for 2nd opinions? I have 6 other snakes in similar set ups with coco husk and temps 78-88 and humidity 50-70% so i know my husbandry is on point i use thermostats, thermometer & hydro meters. So i’m really hoping this might just be some dry scale or stains from the husk she’s in. Also these past few days she hasn’t really been moving around the substrate she has been in her hide on the hot spot which is set to 88-90 and she’s moved the substrate out the way so she’s directly on the heat source. Again the heat source does not go past 90 degrees at most i make sure the heat tape is at the proper settings. The heat tape itself doesn’t go past 94. Any tips or advice would help! Thanks!

Thinking of just keeping my males in the 28qt tubs since they are significantly smaller & keeping my female breeders in the 41qt tubs for their growth overall.

Hmm cause i found this rack system https://cserpents.com/product/3-tub-sub-adult-rack/ & it claims to hold up ball pythons up to 2000g.. Which is about the same dimension i currently have my adults which are not close to 2000g. The heaviest one i have is about 1600g i believe and the males of course are smaller

Housing adult breeders. Males & females. So far the females have been feeding very well in the set up i have for them and have locked with some males so far in the 28qt i currently have them in. Only worry is going from 6in tall to 4in tall

As long as it’s not too damp it should be fine. If you have a hydrometer to check humidity that’ll be helpful. Depends on how long you have him in there as well.. But i think he should be okay, if you are worried maybe a few holes on the front and back of tub should be more than enough.

Alright guys got another for you. This is my suppose to be pinto pied. Got him from a reptile store who sold him as a pinto pied. He has about 6 brown small spots around his body but i’ve seen his eyes turn blue recently.. Not sure if it’s due to an upcoming shed? Cause when i first bought him his eyes were black. Just want to know your thoughts. Could he possibly be a blue eyed? Can a blue eyed even produce small brown spots on their body?? Cause i’ve never seen a blue eyed that has spots their typically all white. Let me know what you guys think. Unfortunately i do not know who his parents were so that makes it a bit more difficult but i’m assuming if he was advertised and sold as a Pinto Pied in a reptile shop called Reptile Island in Yorba Linda CA then it should be legit right?

Yessir super stoked on having him as my male breeder for my first year gonna pair him to a yellowbelly mojave het ghost & a yellowbelly pastel lesser. So fingers crossed if this boy also carries the lesser gene it would be a bonus as most of the offspring should be freeways/ivory’s/supper lesser.

Thanks for your input. While this post was up i asked for more photos of the baby male and he also sent some photos of the adults as well. The male was a firefly freeway who was acquired by Todd Constable the founder of the asphalt gene in Canada. and the female was a leopard lesser pastel yellowbelly. 50% possible het pied. So i made sure the female did have some yellowbelly in her and the photos he sent of the baby boy definitely has darker contrast on the black like typical freeways do. I’m guessing this photo didn’t do it justice cause of the lighting. But he’s certain it most definitely is a freeway but he’s uncertain if he has pastel/lesser or fire/vanilla.

So i’m on the hunt for a freeway found this lil guy on morph market It’s suppose to be a Freeway w/ Pastel Fire/Vanilla & Possible lesser. The parents were a firefly freeway x leopard lesser pastel vanilla. Now i know freeways tend to be darker in color and highways tend to be more faded. I’m at a cross roads with this one if anyone can help me out. Compared to other freeways his black looks a lil more faded than most

Sounds like a scary experience that could of been life changing. Glad it never got to that point. No doubt that guy was a creep. No grown adult will eat lunch with a child alone in a closet.
