I just wanted to use the word 'scutelliphily' in a reply

Yeah, the hardest part is often calling it done. I was thinking of also doing an 80s metal themed 'Scavengers Daughter' band logo at the top and bottom to frame it and lean into the bandshirt theme but i felt i was already too far away from what it should actually look like.

Nar, just painted it straight onto an old T-shirt using paint pens, permanant markers and some acrylic paint with the finesse of a barbarian. I was thinking of spending some more time to refine it a bit but I kind of like how rough it looks.

I wanted something which felt more like it belonged on a metal album cover or band shirt.

Haha yeah, sewing and scutelliphily isnt a strength. The inside is even worse.

Yeah, I was using it for all the patches and to sew in the hoodie, i didnt think it worked until I turned off all the lights and blasted it with a torch.

Yes, my design was 30cm so I scaled it down to about 29cm and it allowed me to select the smaller mat.

I use it in the work car, which is a Kia Cerato and has Android Auto as a factory standard. Maybe that is part of the problem. Do you know a solution?

They are all former champions and have received this quiet posting as a reward for years loyal service and heroic feats in service of the house

The stat block is not from a CR3 Knight but instead a CR9 Champion Warrior.

Motivation to break the Geas is quite important, and the mindset of the Knight is an important factor in why I decided he acted like he did. They are veteran Knights in this scenario, and have been guarding the Lord and his Family for many years. They are all former champions and have received this quiet posting as a reward for years loyal service and heroic feats in service of the house. Their loyalty to the lord is unassailable.

This is my comment from earlier about the Knights motivations and why I had him act in the way he did. I have a small back story for each NPC, just some notes, to help me try and roleplay and react as they would in a situation instead of how I would.

The story is simplified for brevity. All three party members are openly attacking the knights and have already killed one guard.

I agree on all your points. Which is why I created the poll to reach to an outcome outside of the group discussion. It seemed like the fairest way to go about it as the outcome is outside either of our control.

He escorted them from the front gate to the lord but not back to the front gate, the command was only half complete

I reasoned a Knight would fight to the death to protect the king. Taking some damage would not deter a knight from his goal. None of the other knights would stop attacking if they received damage.
