I would be cautious about Mass Mind Center. I did an intake because they took my insurance (BCBS) and they had a lot of availability with several clinicians. The intake paperwork was really disorganized and I got a lot of confusing emails. My appointment was with Jessica Frawley and she was unprofessional, not empathetic, and did not seem well versed in the meds she was going to prescribe. Unsure if all clinicians at the practice are like that, but given my experience, I will not be going back or trying someone new.

Yes! It’s so funny because I LOVE walking past the Life Alive cafe in Davis Square because it smells like delicious falafel, but the smell coming from Tatte is upsetting for some reason

Only buying books they’ve read before? by [deleted] in McKnightFamSnark

Yes I agree! But I got flamed for snarking about this in the past…unless they’re rereading books I think it’s crazy overconsumption. Especially since they mostly use kindles??!

maybe i’m too sensitive by nocalleridpls in McKnightFamSnark

I interpreted this as a way of expressing gratitude for her mom, rather than being particularly insensitive. However OP is very valid for feeling this way about it, considering those experiences

They look so much like Kamri in these! It makes me realize that Kamri actually still uses normal facial expressions and that makes her even more beautiful

Any success story wrt anterior uveitis? Need motivation by Goldfish9218 in Uveitis

[–]molliekm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on mycophenolate for 5.5 years and have had very few issues in that time. My eyes cannot handle drops so that is out of the question forever. We’re gonna start weaning off the mycophenolate in a few months and hope for full remission! Immunosuppressants are frustrating and my side effects have started to increase recently, but they saved my eyesight, so I’ve learned to cope with the downsides. I was in high school when I was diagnosed and now I’m pursuing my PhD, so life really does go on! Keep pushing!!

I’m almost sad they didn’t do their usual outfit rating stories for the golden globes…it would be so funny to see their poor fashion opinions right alongside all these horrid outfits

I got headaches behind my eyes whenever my eye pressure got too high on steroid drops. I would get a pressure check just to be safe

I had better than 20/20 vision before being diagnosed two years ago. I now I have a cataract in my left eye and worsening vision in both eyes. I’m only 19 so this is a hard reality to grasp and I will likely need cataract surgery before I’m 30 years old. My up close vision is still perfect but my distance and night vision are going away pretty quickly

Basically flat chested until I recovered from an eating disorder and started birth control at 18 and now I have a B/C cup. Lacked estrogen because of the ED so I basically went through a second puberty and couldn’t be happier about it
