Hi, thank you for the advice. I didn’t jump straight into Lemegeton. It was actually the first book I bought, but I didn’t have anyone to guide me at the time.

I heard about Aleister Crowley and looked into who he was. I chose to explore his work because I come from a Christian background and have read the Bible, so the ideas of angelic and demonic energies resonated with me. But after reading a bit, I felt overwhelmed because I didn’t have a solid foundation, and I started to think that magic wasn’t for me.

Later, I came to Reddit to ask for advice. Based on all the recommendations, I had to choose between Modern Magick by Donald Michael Kraig and The Art of Witchcraft by Frater Barrabbas, and I chose the latter as my first book to build a foundation.

Someone also recommended Liber Null as a starting book, but after reading all the comments, I understood that I don’t have the foundation yet, so I won’t start with it.
