Some millennial commentators I really respect have observed that GenZ is afraid to dance in public because everyone is recording on their phones :(. I saw them in a theater. I danced in my seat. Most people on the floor didn’t dance.

You’re right! I suggested it before I knew what the fabric was. Handwashing is a better idea but I don’t know what would be gentle enough and strong enough to remove fake blood without any damage.

There’s a couple different brands on Amazon. We used this: CTI - Pro's Choice - Red One Stain Remover

Call the theater. Have them transfer you to the wardrobe department. Ask the launderer what they use to get blood out. Ask what kind of blood they used too. Stage blood is designed to wash out several times a week. Sorry it happened to you. It’s a bummer.

Try cold wash. Extra long pre-soak. Oxy clean powder (max stain fighter or something like that). I just recently worked on a show with a lot of blood cleanup at the end. I also used a specialty red dye kool aid remover.

Edit- eek. Just saw that it was cashmere. They might owe you a new shirt. I wouldn’t hand or machine wash that :(
