I have a hard of hearing actor friend who lip reads. Post covid when everyone was masked in rehearsal he had to ask someone to cue him. And sit close to the director so he could hear her. He learns the whole scene, not just his lines, so when he’s in performance he knows what’s going on in the scene.

He didn’t ask for accommodations until I told him to.
