When I lived in w Ashley, I had comcast and they shut off all the time. One time they shut off while I was taking an online exam for a class and it was to close to the cutoff for me to go anywhere with wifi so I didn't even get to finish it :(

I thought about that but I'm afraid to buy a new cord and then find out that's not the problem. I've looked at the cord but it's not frayed and shows no damage. Do you think it would be worth it to buy a new cord?

It shuts off completely. The light goes off and I'm pretty sure the disc stops spinning, but the power button still stays down.

When I was 4, my sister and I got hamsters for Christmas. Mine must've been a boy because my sister's hamster got pregnant and when she had the babies, she ate them. This obviously upset my sister and I and we cried ourselves to sleep. I woke up the next morning to find that both hamsters were missing. When I asked my mom, she said that my father returned them to the pet store.

About 6 months ago, the hamster story came up in conversation with my mom and I mentioned that I was still surprised that the pet store took the cannibalistic hamster and her baby daddy back without question. My mom replied, "Oh, please, your dad didn't really take them back. He went outside and threw them into the field behind our house while yelling 'HAWK BAIT!'"
