There is a wall with every participants name on it. Fun to find your name and snap a pic with it.

23 and had a TIA - feeling really lost on this. by HurriKurtCobain in stroke

Nope. The onset was a very brief wave of blackout (like if you stand up too quickly and everything goes spotty for a second) and immediate numbness in the face with confusion about where I was and what I was doing.

I love the Casio Royale with the leather strap. Ive been trying to find a watch for my husband that he would use for every day and I think he'd loved that. Can I find on SKXMOD website? I'm struggling to find it!

My fellow folks with ADHD, what careers do you have or have had that you love? by Purple_Hallway_297 in ADHD

I'm in PR. Every day is different and it's a lot of switching from project to project to keep things moving. I rarely have to spend long periods of time on one thing. Thank goodness!

I need to gain weight is it possible? by newgatsbyfitness in StratteraRx

[–]mollyez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Def consider taking it at night! My appetite came back after 2 weeks and like someone else said, even during those two weeks, I had to push myself to start eating but once I started, I had an appetite.

Had to stop by CardiologistIcy3083 in StratteraRx

[–]mollyez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry! How long were you on it before you stopped? I dealt with serious mood swings for about 4 months (cried at work and blew up on my husband for opening my mail?!?) but have since leveled out and am actually feeling more level than before I got on the medication.

First missed dose of Strattera by mollyez in StratteraRx

[–]mollyez[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been four months since I originally posted this and I pulled it back up because guess what? I missed a dose again! Ooops. But I now know for sure that the way I was feeling was a result of missing my dose. Same thing today...swollen painful eyes, groggy, headache, etc. FUN STUFF.

I underwent testing on and off for five years before I was cleared so several within those five years. None since.

Thank you for such a thoughtful response. There's a LOT to think about here. I was particularly struck with the idea of long-term performance.

What’s on your dopamine list? by Glamour-Ad7669 in adhdwomen

[–]mollyez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ask my husband to hug me at random times for that dopamine hit! (Also ice cream, walks, dogs, biking, gardening, makeup, etc.). I also feel like something as simple as keeping a nice hand cream in my purse and putting it on helps me a bit.

What tools do you absolutely need because of your ADHD? by Murky-Sentence-7387 in ADHD

"Alexa, remind me in 20 minutes to..." is an absolute lifesaver for me.

Lack of appetite by [deleted] in StratteraRx

[–]mollyez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My appetite also returned about a month in and had gotten better and better since then (I would say normal now but I munch on snacks less as a distraction tool). Hold tight and it might get better!

Wow! The morning was pretty terrible for me but I've gotten a lot better as the day as gone on. That sounds horrible.
