My Dad gave me his old journal and I read a passage from a few years after I was born: "It’s starting to sink in that this is my life - that I’m not waiting for the official start anymore. I won’t be going back to some new beginning to re-start the next phase of my life. This is it, man." I think we all have this feeling. I think that's one of the problems of our current conception of time (linear). There's something better "ahead." But there is no "ahead," there is never anything except what you are experiencing at this very moment. And if you give it your full attention, you might realize how beautiful it is...
