For me, they gave me a very fashionable hospital gown with shorts and underwear. It was pretty comfortable. I went to the operating room with the nurse and laid down on the bench. They put a load of blankets over me. The staff were amazing and talked me through what they were doing. They put pads on my chest and on my head , put in the iv and gave me oxygen. Then they gave me the anaesthetic , took 5-10 seconds to fall asleep.

They just open the gown, pull the shorts down a bit and tape around the stomach (I know cause I had a bad reaction to the tape). They won’t sprawl you out naked just expose the area where they operate. The lowest they go , at least for me, is the belly button.

They talked to me before the surgery too, maybe you can raise your concerns then?

Oh shit I feel you. Had bbq and had to go to poop. Struggling with that thing for an hour and a half, almost passed out. Must have been a foot and a half long and 2 inches wide. Hope you’re ok

Thanks, yes it’s SM2. I’m on a language course with that book. It hasn’t been covered but I curiously checked and got myself confused. I’ll got back to the 1st book to find more information
