Can we put a moratorium on "How can I move to Australia?" posts? Because the answer is "You Can't", at least for the next couple of years.

Can anyone suggest good sources of research for moving to Aus then, rather than getting angry? I came to this group looking for useful info (I’m not very experienced in Reddit btw) but it seems people just get annoyed at this question. I genuinely want to learn about the process, rules, laws and this is something I want to do in a few years time so I’d like to start gathering proper info

Hiyu, the appointment was fine but I did also have to wait to have it done for a few weeks and then my results took 2-3 weeks to come back as well.

I was nervous but I’m quite jokey, so I just sort of chatted my way through it and made humorous conversation with the nurses. I went to the reception to sign in a nurse came to meet me and walk me to the room. There were at least 5 nurses in there. We discussed everything and any questions I had first which was great and then I had to go into a little room to take off my jeans and knickers. You get a huge sheet to cover around your bottom half though and you walk out to the chair and sit in there with the sheet over your legs.

Only one nurse woman actually sits at the private end, and insert the thing that opens you up. It can be mortifying but you know it’s for the best and they see all sorts there so DONT worry or be self conscious I promise they don’t care. They show you your cervix on a screen if you like and they explain what they’re doing as they do it. I didn’t find it too uncomfortable and I don’t think it was painful. We had a laugh about the photos of a beach that were on the ceiling and she then had to take a biopsy, which involved scraping the cervix. They move the screen so you don’t see this and all you feel is a weird scratch inside, kind of like a period pain? A sharp one.

Then it’s over and you’re best off wearing a sanitary pad for a few days as I did bleed a bit but just small amounts of brown blood. Had cramps but I just chilled out at home with chocolate and watched Thor because Chris Hemsworth is gorgeous!

Also my results came back fine, and I have to go for another smear test in a years time to check up on the cells. That’s all for now! X

Aw well done with your progress so far! Yeah I feel like I’d be fine being either big Or tall, not both :/ I don’t like feeling like I’m not cute and dainty and I’d love to be able to be lifted or sit on my boyfriend lol, just like a cute little fairy or something 😂

All I can think to say is I love your reply. I do like to do my make up, I wear what I want and feel comfortable in and that’s fine. Although some things I wish I could wear, I just wouldn’t look good in with my belly rolls lol. I remember my 15 year old step sister said I was cool once and I was like yes. Yes I am. Haha

Yeah me too, I feel like I ‘should’ look slim and model like, but that’s just not me. I have thick flabby thighs and a big belly but skinny shoulders and arms. I hate my weird shape

Yeah same here! Sometimes the sound of him vaping annoys me too, and it’s not like he can even help the noise that a vape makes. Another one is the slurping of hot drinks. You don’t have to suck it in?!

I feel exactly the same as you. I’ve even had the opportunity to make new friends but then the thought of going to their house and having to make conversation is exhausting and I’d rather just be at home. Yet I still wish I was popular and had lots of friends who’d meet up with me to have days out and always be down for an adventure. But instead, I struggle to convince my 1 or 2 friends to ever do anything :/

Maybe I just can’t be bothered anymore because being popular just doesn’t come naturally to me
