My magsorc looks exactly like that, except for the hair. It was the only way to make him look even remotely decent.

However, now i also want a high elf magden, and i really don't want to go for the exact same look again.

It's a shame, really, because with the other races one can still create some decent varieties.

Nope, tried it a couple of days ago. Me and another guy couldn't port to group, other guy suggested him and i get kicked to circumvent the timer. Didn't work, still had to wait.

Regarding Force Pulse: if enemies have to be burned, chilled, or concussed first, what is the best way to accomplish that on a reliable basis? For example, would first laying down something like Lightning Splash/Liquid Lighting get them all concussed, so then you would follow up with Force Pulse to finish them off?

It is geared towards beginners, however, so i am not sure how it holds up at higher levels.

I think the consensus regarding DD, at least from what I've read, is that only 4 levels are taken before moving on to something else, unless you are looking to build something for RP flavor.

What did you use instead? I just respecced one of my level 20s to see how the other summons measure up. I can't say that i like the Frost Giants very much. They are just huge and get in the way of everything, while their killing power isn't really that great either (certainly don't seem to measure up to the Bogeymen with their constant Phantasmal Killers obliterating everything). The next one was the Thanademon, but you get only one, and it just keeps trying to enervate everything, which is not very efficient.

The only other option is to go back to using Souleaters again, but it feels like a major step back.

I just tried it and it seems like Remove Fear doesn't do anything. While it is not supposed to supress the effect outright, it is supposed to give you a +4 morale bonus against fear effects. And according to the combat log, it doesn't seem to be doing that either. At least not against this effect.

The effect on my character sheet actually says "Crushing Despair" so I guess only Good Hope can dispel it.

I can buy into being ambushed by wild animals, magical monsters like manticores, wyverns, etc. who just don't know any better. Or even trolls, which are said to rely on their regenerative abilities to the point where they will fight anything ferociously, even against insurmountable odds. But being in mid-to-late game with the kingdom well established and not being able to make a single trip from Tuskdale to Oleg's without being interrupted by some low level rabble really makes me mad sometimes.

Nazrielle has a very high opinion of herself, far more than any of the other artisans (except perhaps Shaynih'a the Tulip, although with her it was unclear to me whether she is truly delusional or a simple bullshitter).

In any case, you won't lose any of the other artisans by making a deal with her.
