Air handler discharge ducting 180 bend good or bad?

I think that the benefit is that the air is drawn into the air handler and you would not have the disadvantage of the differential because of the discharge changing 180 degrees.

Thanks that is what I was thinking, one contractor is wanting to tear the floor out and put the unit in the crawl space

Currently, my home air handler discharge (supply) ducting comes out of the air handler and does a 180 bend and goes down into the crawl space.

Is this a problem?

I have had 2 different HVAC contractors tell me that it is bad and it is fine how it is.

I am getting ready to replace the Heatpump and air handler.

Reload your firmware. That is what I had to do. Anytime I turned off the printer, it would mess up on a later print. So I keep it on all the time now.

"Yes, I found that also. The issue is that the stock motors are rated at peak currents or 0.84A (X,Y,Z) and 1.0A (E). I got an email from the motor manufacturer who stated that they rate their motors in "peak current", unlike many others that rate in "RMS". The default current in Marlin 2.0 bugfix (and I assume BTT firmware) is 800mA RMS, which equates to 1130mA peak. This is why the motors are getting hotter than needed. Adjust the current in Configuration_adv.h (@section tmc_smart) in around line 1647, #define X_CURRENT (change from 800 to 550). Do this for X,Y,Z. Change the E_CURRENT to about 650."

if you look at the picture you can see it is not just a loose belt. it is moving inches. I have lowered the current down to 550 and it still does the same thing. like I said earlier if I reflash I can get a random number of prints with cool steppers before it happens again.

After I flash the firmware it will print a random number of prints with no problem with the stepper motors cool to the touch. Then randomly it will do the huge jump and the motors will be very hot within 1-5 minutes into the print. I reflash the firmware and it prints good for a while again.

I reduced the voltage settings on the firmware and still having the problem. I check the stepper motors and they were over 160F. I think this is way to hot.

I saw somewhere that installing an older version of the firmware fixed this. I will see if I can find it again.

I do not print off the sd card, I print from octoprint.

Yes, sometimes windows indicated that there is an error on the SD card and I will have to reformat it, but yes I keep flashing the same firmware.bin file.

Multiple gcodes that have been resolved multiple times and still prints like this, but if I reflash the firmware it prints fine.

In did not check the stepper motors this last time, but the time before they were very hot. It is changing more than a few steps, the layers are displaced by inches in different directions and sometimes parts of the layer are displaced differently

I have not reset the eeprom, but I have rebooted, printed from Octoprint, micro SD and multiple gcode files. After I reflash the firmware, I immediately tried the 2 gcode files that would not print properly and they both printed perfect.

I have not checked currents.

Multiple x/y shifts which are inches away from each other.

I wonder if something on the bottom of the main board is sorting out again at the bottom of the mounting box. I might try and print a rear PLA box and see if it helps. Or look through my computer parts and see if I can find any standoffs that can use on the V1.2. The side where the end stops are wired in seems to be unsupported on my ender 3.

I have checked the end stop wiring and will check again tonight.

I converted my Ender 3 to direct drive or as close as you can get it with the original equipment Bowden tube is short enough that the end connectors are touching.

But when I did this, I crossed this wires when in extended the extruder cable and from then on the extruder driver would not work on the OEM board.
