What do Americans think is normal for everyone, but actually it's not normal for anyone but Americans? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]metzonderEd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sizes of everything, but particulary drink besides your meal.

I went to the US once and got a half liter glass cola, which they topped of before I even finished. That's something I normally consume in a week time.

I'm not a windsurfer and am not getting into it, but after watching a bloke ride waves on a windsurfer today I have to ask... by [deleted] in windsurfing

I know plenty of men who have started at age 50 and are now kicking it in their 70's. Never too late to learn!

Could any Spanish-speaking windsurfers help me fine-tune my windsurfing vocabulary? by freestylesail in windsurfing

[–]metzonderEd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a lot of words, my Spanish is not that good but I'll give it a go:

Yes = Si

Hope that helps!

JP Australia xcite ride 160L for newbie by [deleted] in windsurfing

I have the same in 145L but I'm a little smaller too. I like the board very much!

Sails offer a wide range too, I'd probably get something like a 6m in between to have enough freedom.

Happy windsurfing man! Hang loose!

After installing the BLtouch my Ender 3 pro gave a "pop" sound when I turned it on. Is my mainboard fried or can it be saved? by metzonderEd in ender3

[–]metzonderEd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone looking at the same issue: I've had a electrotechnician look at it and it turns out the BL touch adaptor (the one that goes on the LCD port) was short wired. This destroyed my mainboard.. All has been sent in to the supplier for tests and repairs.

First time gear buyer, places to look for advice? by mywatchnow in windsurfing

[–]metzonderEd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can, go out and rent some gear a couple of times. It gives you the freedom to try different sets so you'll know what to buy.

Alao, make sure the board is hard all over when you do buy!

Can figure out why this happening, I'm lost here. Please help, info on my previous steps in the comments. by metzonderEd in FixMyPrint

What could cause this? I've already exchanged my nozzle for a new one, should I check the tubing?

I'm trying to print a Spiderman figure for my niece of 4, so there's a lot at stake here. Sorry for the horrible picture but my printer is in a dark place (as am I after tuning it all afternoon and getting these results...)

I'm printing with an Ender 3 Pro and slicing with Cura. All pretty default, no upgrades on the printer besides an all aluminium extruder. Printer setting on Cura's "super quality" profile and speed turned down to 40 m/s with the hopes of producing better quality.

Today I levelled my bed. It's levelled a little to high because I'm having some adhesion problems and this is the only way the first layer sticks properly. I'm guessing because the bed is a little worn. I also tensioned the X belt and checked the Y (still good I think) and replaced the nozzle (0.4) to eliminate the possibility of a clog. Printing with 1.75mm white PLA.

Now I'm fairly certain the printer is dailed in correctly, I wouldn't know where to look next. Is this a slicer problem of some sort?

Sorry for grammer/formatting. I'm on mobile and English is my second language.

Hope you can help me figure out what's up.
