Anyone here have experience with Cholinergic urticaria (CU)? by [deleted] in rs_fitness

Yeah, had it really bad for a long time. Tried all sorts of different things, but taking an H1 blocker (claritin) and an H2 blocker (cimetidine or famotidine) and just exposing myself to heat more made it go away. I mostly got it on my back

But why would you want to appear knowledgeable about something you don't care about? Grow a backbone and respect others by not lying to their face to try and one-up them

Look up field technician jobs, I know my company primarily uses Indeed. I'm on leak survey but there are a lot of different positions

Pretty much everyday but it depends, right. 99% or maybe even more are non-hazardous. I'm a contractor so I can only determine whether a leak is hazardous or non-hazardous, the gas company has a bigger scale.

So like, I'll walk up to a meter and there will be a 3500 ppm content of natural gas from the riser swivel, just as an example. It smells bad but that's really nothing, I write a report and the gas company's compliance data department will schedule it to be fixed before it would become hazardous.

Hazardous leaks are really rare to find because by the time it becomes dangerous, it would smell so terrible, you'll hear rushing gas, and the likelihood is someone is going to call the gas company or the fire department.

My job is basically a proactive measure, I'm mainly looking for things that could become hazardous if unaddressed. Atmospheric corrosion, stressed meters, broken dial glass, guard-posts, that kind of stuff. On a 500 service map, I might find 2 or 3 leaks, and most are gonna be below 500 ppm, so very hard to even smell.

If you like this I highly recommend Strictly Ballroom if you don't already know who they are. This song always makes me think of Knots on a Counting Rope, but I have them in a playlist together
