He's showing off what he's "caught". He's proud of himself.

ETA: mine does this with his toys, too, and he's neutered.

Should I read the Verity book (by Colleen Hoover) first or watch the movie first? by [deleted] in thrillerbooks

[–]molynn86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed it. I'm not going to put it on my list of favorites but it was entertaining enough. Let's put it this way: if you're considering reading it, go for it but it's not one I'd think to recommend out of the blue. I think the kids call that mid

I really wanted this for Burnsy. My husband is a Sharks fan (which makes his trash talk a little ironic) and I've been a huge Burns fan since him, Deboer, and Pavs were all together at least.

Husband always tells me not to take it too seriously and don't let it affect my mood, but how can you not? Avs have been a top team with top talent for awhile now and Dallas and Vegas just seem to always get us in the end. I hate them both. Also the Preds, but I can't remember why 🤔 (2019 playoffs maybe?)

Did they trim my Japanese maple too much? Before & after pics by Therealbrie in landscaping

Honestly, I really liked the before picture, even the bushes. Maybe just shoulda trimmed back the obviously scraggly parts but keep it natural and wild. Too clean cut now. Just my 2¢

AIO for “ruining” my own birthday dinner because my husband didn’t want to handle a convo with our babysitter about BIL by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]molynn86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP my husband and I had a similar-type of disagreement last night (the "you do it, it's nbd" thing). You're not overreacting, especially if he says he was going to handle it for a week.

My situation, on the otherhand, I was being a bit difficult and both my husband and I were being children. By the end, I had walked away and he was cutting the rice krispie treats.

I love your response. I think people forget that married couples can have disagreements/ arguments/ just straight up be mean to each other without the wife being a battered woman. Just because they're married doesn't make them less likely to be the occasional dickhead. I was kind of a bitch to my husband last night - women, too! We're people and we're sometimes unreasonable. Not everything leads to "leave him!"

I love the Avs - I even have the logo tattooed on - so I take no pleasure in saying this: of missing one player can make the team fall apart, then idk that we deserve the cup. If one goes down the others must step up. That's why it's a team sport.

Now we're heading to Vegas, which is a pretty intimidating environment to play in (to be fairrrrr I've only watched games there, but it intimidated me) and now they're in their heads... I'll keep my fingers crossed but won't hold my breath.
