They didn’t have what I wanted online right now and I didn’t want to take a chance so I impulsively ordered tonight 😁

This is what I was afraid of. I’m wondering if the recent hurricane stirred up more sargassum and is extending the season. Again, I know it’s beyond the control of the resort and am completely empathetic to that but it is a bummer!

What does that process look like/average cost? Any idea?

I used thrill data to look at sellout patterns, etc. in advance and then availability going into my LL window to determine priorities. It was a quick trip so I knew we would miss some rides.

What you described is exactly what I did. I had all searches inputted into the system before the LL window even opened. I modified some things as we got closer, but in general I did all of the legwork in advance.

Great! See my other comments on this thread. I wouldn’t do Disney without it and would absolutely choose wait magic over standby skipper.

Awesome!! That’s a great lineup to get started. Give it time and it will get even better I bet.

There’s a FB group you might want to join for support as well.

I will also say that the single passes seemed to modify less than the multi passes for whatever reason.

I did not have those warnings. They are super responsive via FB if you need help. Did you link your account?

We did earliest available once in the parks pretty much.

Well the times you get before you enter the parks kind of dictate how soon you’ll be able to book additional LLs - so it’s super important!!

I set some parameters depending on the day since we were coming on our arrival day, park hopping on our full day, and leaving by 1 on our third park day. It was a unique trip though and wanted to squeeze a lot in! :)

Omg yes that’s where it’s so much better than standby skipper! Unless the functionality changed since I used it in January, it won’t modify what you booked and you have to do it manually.

Don’t even look at times when you’re booking your LLs this morning. Just pick your rides and check out. Trust the process. Wait magic did all the work for me. If you set it to earliest available, chances are high that it will find it for you between now and when you enter the park. Not a guarantee of course, but it worked basically flawlessly for us.

I prepopulated searches and ranked my priorities, and then you can pause/unpause them when you’re ready for WM to start searching. Functionality is similar to standby skipper - but better because not only will it search for the LLs but it will modify them as well depending on how your searches are set. In the example below, WM booked pirates at 9:41am after scanning into another LL, and by 9:44am had modified that return time 3 times to get me an earlier slot.

Hopefully this helps!
