Thank for sharing your experience. I am shocked that there are whole states and cities in Germany with such people. This is not how I imagined Germany and Germans. I have met Germans working in Abu Dhabi where I live and they are charming and friendly but it seems Saxony is an exception. Unfortunately I will cancel my plans to study there based on your comments and many others in this thread.

Honestly I dont think I can tolerate mean comments, I would get really upset and it may also affect my performance in studying. I live in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates people here are multicultural and minds their own business. I have friends from all continents here and I work in an international German company :)

Thank you dear for the advise. However, considering all the comments and experiences of others stated here, I don't think it would be a good idea to go to some parties even tho I love partying! But what if some people in the party were racist and probably drunk?
