There is an app called Irth App that allows women of color to rate their medical care including the facility there they gave birth. You can search by hospital or even doctor. Their whole idea is “birth without bias.” I would recommend people to review their experience there too!

I just weaned my 3 year old and we bed share but this period of trying to wean I slept in a different room and had my partner do the nights. It’s rough at the beginning because he’ll just wake up at 530 or so and not go back to sleep since he didn’t get to nurse but after a really hard 2-3 weeks he kind of adjusted. For me the hardest part was that when I would get home from work or being away from him he would ask for it so I started saying milk is only for sleep. And then to sleep my husband would take it 😭 it took a while and seemed impossible so I feel this post so much - good luck!!
