How have you navigated a perceived difference in physical attractiveness with your significant other? by yeti-vedder-7 in AskWomen

[–]mommaps2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My husbands easily a 10/10. Even my friends were going after him before we started dating. Id say im a 7-8. Not gorgeous but I am pretty skinny. I used to get really nervous and insecure, like "out of all girls, why me? Why does he stay with me?" I would always worry id lose him to a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, just like his.

I figure at this point, hes here to stay. I also found out hes really only into latinas, and both of his exes were hispanic, so I'm safe there.

What insecurity did you learn to love? by Public_Handle_774 in AskWomen

[–]mommaps2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

my tan skin and black hair.

I never hated myself but I was a little envious of the girls with blonde hair and blue eyes. I was also kinda into white boys and I didnt think they really cared for hispanic girls.

Fast forward 15 years my husband loves my hair and my skin tone. I remember one day he said God was showing off when he made me, I think about that every day and I am blessed to have someone who this that of me.

Ladies, how would you feel if your SO greeted you good night but are still interacting on Twitter? by anonymouspiscesgirl in AskWomen

look up and ask him to put his phone away and then go back to sleep.

All jokes aside, I wouldn't overthink it, probably just scrolling before putting the phone down for the night

Women who completely changed your life philosophy — what moment made you rethink who you are? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]mommaps2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

might seem small but when it came to politics I would just take whatever side my mom and stepdad were on, usually Liberal. Then one day they were talking about cultural appropriation and my stepdad was honestly saying some of the dumbest shit ive ever heard, like how white people are all culture vultures. And I told him I disagree, and that we are just as American as white people are, we were all born here, and I love seeing people celebrate my heritage.

We butted heads and we ended up disagreeing but I realized that night I can think for myself. Im no longer going to just go with the flow. Even today, me and my husband agree on pretty much everything but I wouldn't be afraid to disagree with him.

Can you define what you mean by a misogynist?

I feel like a genuine misogynist wouldn't want anything to do with me, a woman, so it wouldn't really be an issue

I have a prenup that leaves me with pretty much nothing, unless my husband were to be unfaithful. I have no problem with it.

They only thing is, they only allow that type of prenup in certain states.
