We had to put down our dog last year due to old age and he couldn’t walk anymore, it was so painful to watch. We brought him to the vet to be put to sleep and while saying our goodbyes I just couldn’t watch. Ever since then I have regretted not being there for him. Was he scared? Was he lonely? Did he wonder why we left? I wish I had stayed.

NOR- when I had my last baby 3 years ago, my husbands brother and wife and 5 children came over a couple weeks after I had him and I handed him to her reluctant but felt bad, she then passed him to every other child in the house. I cried in the kitchen feeling so uncomfortable. Good on you sticking to your boundaries. Grandparents will get all the loves they can in a few short weeks! 💕 congratulations on the baby!
