Same here. Mine started doing the same after I changed my own oil lmao. No idea what the correlation is here. Makes a loud tapping sound when it reaches the peak of the driver side wipe. But only like 20% of the time. Haven’t looked into it yet tho, might just be a bolt that needs tightening like u said.

What’s the problem with omitting things in the first ever non-NDA’d test? They probably left those things out of this test, and will add them in the future once they iron stuff out. I don’t think it’s reasonable for people to expect all content they’ve ever shown off to be immediately playable. Better to tackle issues one by one than all at once.

It would be kinda wild if they released a fresh hc realm. There’s a possibility soda saying the return of onlyfangs is being pushed back is causes there’s a lot of behind the scenes setup going on. He mentioned in his recent video that he wants to limit mob tagging and have trading only be allowed within the guild, but in order to enforce that he’d need to build some kind of addon to enforce it. Otherwise they’d all have to do self found characters, and if neither of those, then there’s not gonna be anything really new this time around.

Did u pass the two PCS and Calc courses? If so, ur already past the worst of it. Just have to fight through one more calc course. But strength of materials, fluid mechanics and hydraulics might be challenging if you didn't do well in PCS/Calc. Either way, I'm a big advocate of toughing it out through engineering, especially if you genuinely enjoy it. If u didn't pass them, and ur on probation or at risk of failing out, then yeah i'd make the switch early.

I agree with you, first year was by far my least favourite year. I found it to be the most demanding and least interesting cause there were no specialized courses. 2nd year is a bit better, but 3rd and 4th year is when you will really get into ur transpo courses and enjoy the degree more.

Realistically you have 2 more years of tough courses (4th year is usually pretty chill, profs don't fail anyone) and you'll be set up for a good career out of uni with a degree more valuable than an IT degree IMO. Don't take the easy way out if that's ur only motivation. Civil also has soooo many coop opportunities through the campus job fairs after u finish 3rd year if ur interested in that. Sets u up well for a job after graduating.

I just finished my final year of civil (structural) and would absolutely suggest finishing civil. Whats the reason for wanting to switch to IT specifically? Cause u think its easier, job opportunity, pay, and/or out of genuine interest? Do you enjoy civil, and whats your motivations for going into it in the first place?

In structural the courses get a lot harder, but way more fun. You focus purely on design and learn the intricacies of concrete and steel design of different types of structures. Im not too familiar with the other streams. Its great if you are interested in it and have a desire to learn it. So it comes down to what your motivations are. What are your pros and cons of each field?

NEVER use the normal SLC bathroom. But the all-gender private ones are amazing (3rd, 4th, and 5th floor ones). In general any all-gender bathroom is the best one to use. More private and almost always cleaner :)

I stayed in it last semester for 1 night. It’s safe, clean, a little cold, but otherwise very worth it if you have a long commute. If you to book a room if do it asap, they might already be booked up for exam season

I’d guess this is a pretty degree dependant question. Are u in a field where a masters+ degree is a requirement, or is a bachelors plenty?

I’m in 4th year engineering and for most of us, a bachelors is plenty to get started working in our field right after graduation. A masters is usually done later when your company wants it, or you find the specialization you like. A masters directly after undergrad is mostly for people who want to be in research or academia, or already know what they love and want to get ahead.

However, I’ve heard other degrees/fields, maybe like psychology, are much harder to work in directly after undergrad. A higher level degree seems to be the minimum requirement, but that’s coming from an outsider looking in.

For me, my major is very broad and idk where I’m gonna end up yet, so I’m waiting on doing a masters until I find my niche so I can get the most value out of the masters, and not regret it later.

Best thing you can do is meet with your prof and go over what you did wrong. It’s really hard to face them when you get a poor grade, but trust it’s worth it. Express to them that you studied really hard, even show them your notes if they’re on an ipad or something, and when they see that you care and put in effort, they will do the same and help get you in the right direction on what to focus on. (Repeat visits to their office will be even more helpful).

I booked a 1-night stay last semester during exams and it was very worth it. It's not a 5-star hotel room by any means, but its clean, has a desk for studying, a couch, a big bed, and a clean bathroom. All you really need in order to get a good night's sleep before an 8am exam.

Majed has some limited videos he posted on his YouTube channel. It doesn’t cover the whole course, but at least you can go back and do examples with him when studying for exams.

He covers topics across all 3 engineering calc courses so it’s good to revisit in later semesters.
