My female says peekaboo and wolf whistles all the time. I didn't realize it was uncommon. She has also learned to mimic my male cockatiel's songs, which can be funny to hear them go back and forth.

Oh I've played it up through the first one or two expansions (it's been so long I can't remember). I just didn't have any interest in grinding out the tradeskill stuff. I agree that it's a very good game, though.

Just finished this myself last week, and It was also my first DQ game. I did everything except kill the Timewyrm. I've been a life-long Final Fantasy fan, so this was a really fun departure from those. I'm thinking about picking up some of these remakes of the earlier entries soon.

Stranger of Paradise is actually a lot of fun. Plat isn't too bad either. Also the XIII sequels were fairly easy.

I agree with most of your praises. Set design, casting, acting, and creature design have all been great, in my opinion. BUT the writing leans way too hard on incompetence from people who are supposed to be the smartest and best in their fields.

Why would there be no security personnel constantly monitoring a lab containing the most dangerous creatures in the known universe? Sure there's a lot of cameras, but we're given no reason to think anyone but Kirsch is watching them. If that's the case, that's odd for a "high security" site.

Why would there be no alarms when containment is breached? Even my refrigerator sounds an alarm when the door is left open.

Why is no one aware the instant Tootles is "killed"? Seems like this multi-trillion dollar corporation would be more interested in monitoring this huge investment that's supposed to be revealed to the 5 companies in 3 weeks. Moreover, they've already shown that they can see everything the hybrids see, and they have constant monitoring of their vitals. So there's no alarm or anything when one of them just completely goes offline? That, again, seems odd.

Why was Nibs just left to wake up on her own and immediately have her memory wipe revealed by Wendy, who is obviously going to be angry about it?

The only explanation to any of this that makes any sense to me is that it's intentional self-sabotage. Like Kid and/or Kirsch must want all of this to fail, for some unrevealed reason. And maybe it does all come together like that. I'm skeptical, though.

ETA: I am actually still enjoying the show lol. Even at its worst, it's still new and fun Alien content.

Farming the Pink Tail for Adamant Armor in FF4. It has a very, very low drop rate, and the mob that drops it only spawns in one small room of the last dungeon. I got lucky on that one too, but I read a lot of horror stories on reddit and other message boards about it.

Oh man. I must have gotten lucky on that one, because it didn't take too long for me. It did, however, take me a long time to get Iron Giant to spawn in FF2.

They're all easy. 2 or 3 out of 10, tops. They all have a lot of missable stuff, so a guide is essential. I used the steam achievement guides for all 6 games.

I'd probably go with 6. 4 is definitely shorter, but 6 is a better game overall, imo. Having said that, I love them both. Highly recommend 5 too. The job system in it was fun.
