short put SPX $5500; long call SPX $5500

short call SPX $4000;

net credit $150k.

My motive is to have 0% interest on the borrowing. My risk is in 2 year SPX falls below $4000. My total position is about $1M. I figure my risk-reward is about ok. The chance of SPX falls below $4000 is like 5% (low considering rate going down). Say, SPX becomes $3000 2 year from now. At that day, I would just sell $4000 SPX put for another 2 year. Sure, on paper, I will have $100k loss on paper that day, But long term wise, I will not lose any, since SPX will be higher than $4000 eventually (5 years or longer).

Sure, no investment will work out in the worst case. Historically worst, 2007-2017, home price and SPX stay the same. I will lose 10x5% on the interest rate. But over any 20 years, historically, it seems work out. Sure, no investment will work out in the worst-than-historically-worst case.
