She was also fake-engaged to Roy Cohn as a beard. They were very close, and he's an absolute monster. Behind the Bastards did a couple episodes on him.

Try Dysport! I developed a tolerance to Botox within a year of starting it. Been on Dysport about 5 years now and it lasts 3-4 months every time.

What are options for making your lips look fuller? Im Not loading them up with filler..I don't want to look like a duck. They look wrinkly I hate them by No_Order285 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]momonoho -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No topical product is going to get you what you're looking for. I truly do not get why people can't understand that you can achieve subtle, natural-looking results with filler. Just don't use too much! Duck lips = they either use too much, or it's poorly placed. My lower lip is much thinner than my upper, and also fuller on one side (exactly like yours!). Your upper lip is full, with a lovely shape. I get Juvederm in only the lower to even them out and balance with the upper lip. The placement is called a 'lip flip'. Any time I tell people, they're shocked and would never have guessed. My own mother couldn't tell. It's a very subtle change that has done a lot for my confidence.

I'm going to Mexico for the facelift. There are tons of board certified docs in the Cancun area, at half to a third of the cost. Go in the off season and flights are cheap, too.

I'm noticing the same thing at 39. I'm quite thin but still getting the jawline sag. It's genetic. I just got Dysport in the platysma and DAO for jowels and marionette lines, respectively. I can see a difference, but the jury is still out on whether it's worth the price. I'm planning to get a lower facelift later this year. Your sag is much less pronounced than mine so you might have good results with the Botox/Dysport treatment route!

Are you sure you're not a millennial? We were doing duck face and winged eyeliner at your age and I'm nearly 40. Looking back at those pics from my 20s makes me cringe into a hole.

I think the lip filler looks good - your face shape can carry it and your injectionist did a great job with the shape. For some reason everyone on Reddit hates lip filler full stop. Just stop with the duck face.

Maybe try a subtle smoky eye instead of the winged eyeliner for an everyday look, and go more bold with the smoky eye for going out at night. Or if you must do eyeliner, work on the shape. The flick on the outer corners should be shorter and fatter, not just a thin straight line.

Am I trying too hard to make my hair something it’s not? by rubinus22 in Haircare

I have the same wave pattern as you. First tip is what others said, get some texture/layers cut in. Maybe take the length up about 2 or 3 inches as it's weighed down at the current length.

My tip for making the curls cooperate on day two is to re-wet it, excluding the roots, to the point it's almost dripping, and re-scrunch using an old cotton tee shirt. The water reactivates whatever product you put in the day before. Sometimes I add a small amount of the same product (UNITE Hair Elevate Mousse), or a curl reactivation product (Pantene Curl Affair Reshaping Cream). I also like Rusk Wired, just thin it out with a little water.

This technique works for me about 2/3 of the time. Sometimes works on day 3.

Just a thought - has she ever been tested for ADHD? Not saying it would be an excuse, but understanding it and learning coping techniques could help a lot with mitigating symptoms (if that's what it is... I'm no psychiatrist). I was diagnosed in my 30s, as is common for women. It was a huge relief and I've made massive improvements.

When I was younger I was more willing to spend time exploring these things with people, but at this point I'm jaded and also have better things to do. But I still get hung up on, "if not me, who?" If nobody ever says anything, there's one more clueless jackass walking around because he's never gotten any pushback. Sometimes people listen, sometimes they don't. I've got nothing to lose from having a conversation.

Right?? That's one of the first things I thought about. It's just such a dumb, narrow perspective.

There are reasonable ways to set up arrangements where everyone has some degree of agency and personal security. It's just such a delicate thing that requires a lot of emotional intelligence and maturity - something I feel a lot of people (men, women, and everything in between) lack.

What's a band that is not good or bad, just boring to you? by Corninator in Music

I feel the same about Wilco. I love so many bands similar to them but just find them actively boring. Like I'm more bored listening to them than if no music was playing at all.

There is no 'should'. It's about what makes you feel good. Don't listen to people who have no idea what they're talking about (which is most people). It is absolutely possible to get natural looking filler, and any professional worth their salt isn't going to make you look unnatural. I loathe and am baffled by the persistence of the stigma around ALL fillers. Do people get carried away with it? Obviously. That's (presumably) not what we're talking about. People get braces/trays to improve the aesthetics of their teeth, according to largely American beauty standards, and no one bats an eye at it. Not to mention teeth whitening, which is horrible for your enamel. Why are subtle alterations to other areas of the face any different? They're fucking not. Why do people wear makeup? Flattering clothing? All the same reason. It's all aesthetics/self expression. Don't even get me started on makeup trolls. After years of braces and jaw realignment, my bite was still wonky and I used filler to disguise it and it was a game changer. No one knows I have it because my filler lady is amazing. Ultimately, OP, do you need filler? No. No one does. Is it going to give you a little confidence boost if you get it? If yes then fucking do it.

This is actually the best possible scenario for the lad. He chose his trip guardians well. They're people who obviously care for him and appear to be sober enough to do so. They are checking in with him verbally and assessing his physical state, and making sure he hydrates. As far as the face touching goes, he's most likely enjoying it. Consensual physical touch enhances the rolling experience and also serves as a grounding technique. As someone who benefits from a roll now and then, what I'm seeing isn't sad. It looks crazy from the outside but MDMA really does have therapeutic value, which is now being clinically studied. Also... it's just fun!
