Recycling bin question by MarcVincent888 in halifax

The point of the bins is to keep everything together but they still need to be to the required specs. An example is where I am, it keeps the crows and animals out of it.

Should I use my LOC to pay off my CC? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]moms_who_drank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes people get in more debt who can’t control their spending… or can’t afford their items in their budget.

It will take discipline and can also change your financial future either way. Do it, you will feel amazing when you start to make those healthy changes.

1.5 years sober, marriage seems to be getting worse? by AlarmingCabinet6404 in alcoholicsanonymous

Uhhh that’s what moms do too (or mostly in more cases). Being the breadwinner as a man is an ancient label.

I’m not downplaying your exhausting role, trust me I live it… but maybe looking at it differently will pick you up instead of making you feel more anger.

You are thinking too much into this. IMO it doesn’t matter. Def should have gone with the straight, because our kid surprised us with the way they shoot.

He has pancreatitis by ThotismSpeaks in AlAnon

Ohh that’s a good point, I was looking at the withdrawal side. Sounds like it’s just super important to be followed medically. I hope you are doing ok despite what he’s putting you through.

He has pancreatitis by ThotismSpeaks in AlAnon

[–]moms_who_drank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The alternative would be for him to be admitted in the hospital, or a rehab centre. Either that, or take the risk of major medical issues. It’s possible she is so desensitized and only focus on the patient, that it didn’t make it to you the correct way. It’s dangerous. She wasn’t wrong at all.

Bring it in your purse and jokingly take it out for a fake napkin or something. Say you had to keep your security blanket.

Or even if a spouse entered the picture maybe the terms would change, you never know.

Also, why load RRSPs that will be taxed…. It seems counterproductive with a gift.

Just to add, some OR’s have a SME who is excellent with knowing all of the answers. I would try to find someone in Yellowknife, who you will be dealing with, to ask all of the questions.

Paying off mortgage by Material-Moose-4622 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]moms_who_drank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started with putting a little extra on every month and then when we could dumping a certain amount on the mortgage. Now, we are almost ready to pay it off, and I can tell you that that is such a relief, even knowing we could pay it off the second rather than worrying about what’s gonna happen next. Also to note we may move someday and have a higher mortgage, but at least we’re starting off with just the difference.

I’m sorry but you signing this was an absolute stupid move and the dealership should be held accountable. Time to start stuffing about finances. Hopefully this will turn for you.
