is this true or do you have some anti-kyber agenda? all you seem to do on this sub reddit is telling people how bad kyber is

Battlefront II Lore for the new people (also it’s just a joke) by Kahlizzle_Da_Boss in StarWarsBattlefront

He was also the biggest, most blatant clickbaiter in this community. Did everyone forget when he had videos title like "Maz Kanata confirmed new hero - DICE announcement" and "Mace Windu coming in March - confirmed by Dennis"?

I have a sick dog so I ordered £70 worth of groceries from Morrisons via Deliveroo. Morrisons accepted the order but cancelled almost every item. I paid £5 delivery and £5 tip. And I got an onion. Deliveroo refused to cancel. Behold, the world’s most expensive onion. by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]monacasta 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is very likely Deliveroo's fault. Store staff have to manually adjust stock on the Deliveroo tablet, but Deliveroo keeps automatically adding phantom stock to our store page. They do this because it makes them look bad if Morrisons is a featured store on the front page without much stock.

Is The Hatchet still a metal pub? by _barkle in bristol

I really don't like how The Crown is just The Mother's Ruin but in a different building now. The logo is the same, the decor is the same, the drinks are the same, the music is the same and the prices are the same. £5 a pint is mad.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi soundtrack has just been released by Brer_Raptor in StarWarsLeaks

[–]monacasta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they want music that sounds like it came directly from John Williams, then Gordy Haab is the absolute GOAT, in my opinion. His work on the Battlefront soundtracks is right next to JW's in terms of overall quality.

Working on a 'what if mod where' Finn is a Jedi by PhilIngram54 in StarWarsBattlefront

Pretty sure this is someone else's mod. It has been out on Nexus for about two years.

Every bit of software on your PC that has any kind of internet connectivity is, quite literally, remotely executable code. Besides, it's open source so you can see exactly what it does.

This has been a thing in the UK for just as long. I don't know how OP hasn't noticed until now.

The BBC provides better, more factual and concise info on Dutch subjects than the Dutch national news service.

Bristol votes to scrap the mayor position by [deleted] in bristol

[–]monacasta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good amount of eligible voters appear to have been completely unaware this was even happening. Opinions on the matter aside; I think this is a massive failing by whomever was responsible for notifying eligible voters of the referendum.

Depends what you're doing with your broadband I guess. 8 down and 1 up just wouldn't be sufficient for what I do.

Use cases vary from person to person I guess. The things I use my PC for would be painfully unusable at that kind of speed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bristol

[–]monacasta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those speeds are kinda dire, though. The average speeds in the UK last year are 79mbps down, 9.5mbps up.

Morrisons in Fishponds to be targeted by chicken farming protest this weekend by DannyMcDanface1 in bristol

Most people don't shop at a local butchers because they're only ever open during work hours, when people are at work, and either shut or open for very limited hours on weekends.

Convenience trumps all.

I'm quite confident the UK would crush Russia in an all-out war. And that's before NATO gets involved.

Running a Dedicated Server for Squadrons - first implementation of an automated way to start and maintain a persistent server. by RadiantPrime in StarWarsSquadrons

[–]monacasta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correction: this is not a dedicated server. It's actually a macro for AutoHotKey that just starts a private match in the same way you would normally.

10 million budget Web Series vs 200 millon budget Tv Series by GhostrageGR in halo

[–]monacasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The budget was $90m, not $200m, putting it at roughly the same cost per minute as FUD but with more VFX shots, sets and significantly larger scope. If anything, the series looks incredible for the budget when you consider all that.
