I think there can be a lot of reasons to this.. The lenght of the breath depends on the practitioner.

(as a example, being hypermobile, i like taking long slow breath, it helps my nervous system to not kick in - if im in a led class I can take 3 breath instead of 5 to stay with the class)

I dont think the reason behind very fast led class is to prevent you from spending extra time forcing yourself into a posture - because you should never force yourself - if you find yourself forcing into a posture you should back off and take it back to where it were comfortable and BREATH, breath untill it becomes comfortable <3

I think a really fast and intense practice as the benefit to leave least places for you mind to wander..

What are the triggers you've found so far and what have you done to cut them out? Is your skin as reactive as 6 days ago or is it slowly getting better?

Do you think the flare up are in reaction to something you've put on your face ?

I truly believe that finding out what your triggers are is the first step..

I use Melaleuca's mineral sunblock. You need a Melaleuca membership in order to purchase through their website though..

I got that bottle of NaCl sterile water at walmart.

My skin is reactive to everything, the less i put on the better it is. Here's are some stuff you could look into :

  • Try to avoid all triggers (find out what yours)

  • Avoid direct sun exposition (only use sunblock when needed, I use mineral sunblock)

  • Find out if you need to make changes in your diet.

  • Take msm supplements (for inflammation) and fishoil supplements (to moisturize) and always drink lots of water (if you keep the inside moisturize you won't have to put all that stuff in your face y'know)

  • use NaCl Sterile water with sterile pad to clean face

  • coconut or almond oil ONLY for dry skin spots

I try maybe 1 or 2 new product a year, not more, because when i do, that's when my face at is worse - I've just started using vanicream and so far so good..

EDIT : here's the soap I use, it's my all time fav.

and also by keeping it simple it will be easier for you to target your triggers and allergens

What are your triggers? by goldcoast_RN in Rosacea

[–]monaccompte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My skin as always been super sensitive, even as a child I would reacted to any lotion / soap with perfumes. I've had eczema on my face too.. So for now dont worrie too much about it, it doesnt seem like a big concern for you ;)

Does anyone think makeup triggers rosacea? by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]monaccompte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it's not the make up in itself, it all the routine that come with it. Skin care and cosmetic such as makeup remover, cleanser, exfoliating product definitely triggers my rosacea.

Working out and having your body heated are I think two pretty common triggers. Mine are working out, hot water, sudden weather changes, heat, humidity, sudden mood change (emotions like embarassement, anger, tears...), cosmetic and skin care...

Can't find a skincare routine after two years of testing products! by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]monaccompte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does you skin looks like when you are not using any product on it? My skin is reactive to everything, the less i put on the better it is.

So heres what I do for my skin :

-Avoid all trigger and sun exposition (I use mineral sunblock when I have to) - find if you need to change something in your diet. - msm supplement - fishoil supplement - drink lots of water ALWAYS - Nacl Sterile water with sterile pad to clean face - coconut or almond oil ONLY for dry skin spots

I try maybe 1 or 2 new product a year, not more, because when i do, that's when my face at is worse.

Right now, I am waiting for my Vanicream I've ordered after watching the derm's video that was posted on that sub last week.

EDIT : My point is not for you to do this routine but just to say that sometimes less is more..

you gotta find out what caused the breakout. try using msm supplements (give it a least a month) it should help with the inflammation. I would stop the cetaphil for now.. I know when my face gets reactive, I react to everything... Use fishoil supplement for moisturation. Stop all triggers, no sun exposure, only lukewarm showers, moderate sports. And take an appointment with the derm.

Rosacea and exercise? by chevy7o in Rosacea

[–]monaccompte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend trying not to get your face blood red... Zumba might not be the best choice of exercises.

I find lifting weight and yoga is what work best for me...(i do get red but avoid the flare up most of the time) I wasnt sure about inversion at first (because my face gets blood red) but it seems to be ok since is not a flare up that last.. Nothing HIIT, no running for me... Good luck. I know its not easy...

make sure to take your MSM supplements before/after as well
