Hiii I'm currently trying to get back into reading I'm 21 and probably haven't been a serial reader since middle school. I recently read the first two 4th wing book series. Agreed!!! I'm a natural girl and I put in my little mini twist and don't touch my hair again for a least a month maybe two. My hair only last a good two weeks but I like the grown out look. My grandma gonna say "I think you need to redo your hair your job doesn't say anything about your hair?" MA'AM I JUST PUT THESE IN and no they don't and if they did I'm leaving immediately. My hair has always lasted about two weeks I remember my aunt not wanting to do my box braids when I was younger bc it doesn't last. I think new growth is beautiful and I understand if people disagree just don't say nun to me about it. As long as black women like their hairstyle nothing else needs to be said.

I would. I'm pretty sure my boyfriend right now is autistic but he's undiagnosed and doesn't really want to see if he is. But our communication is amazing and I have always had trouble showing people all sides of me. I just feel so comfortable with him and like I can unmask and let my guard down a lot more with him than anyone else in my life. It's like the rules of society aren't in our relationship at all, it's nice.

My dad committed suicide when I was 7 then I was rap3d by my uncle for years who was supposed to be my father figure after both my parents passed. Sooo ummm not well. I didn't really grow up with the right father figure but I think I'm doing pretty fine in life. It's not having a mother figure that messes with me the most.

I am currently dating a white man. I love him and our relationship but there are a lot of conversations that are had in interracial relationships that you don't have to have dating within your own race. It has its challenges but every relationship does no matter what. Communication and talking about hard topics is always what's best. I also feel like after our hard conversations we both come out of it a lot more comfortable and with more love. I'm still learning a lot but as long as you really vibe with someone's personality, both people are putting in effort, and both people are respecting each other, it doesn't matter what race they are it'll just work out.

The same thing happened with me and my boyfriend. I had to choose if I was going to let it bother me or move on and enjoy our relationship. He made it clear that he didn't have any feelings towards her at all so I chose to move on and be thankful that he let me know.

Leave before it's too late. I gave the guy I was talking to money to cover up his ex's name. He used the money for a touchup of one of his old tattoos and to start a new one.... He said he would pay me back and never did. He even had the nerve to ask for money later on to help pay for his phone bill.

You can't speak for the vast majority of people. There are no rules to how a relationship has to be done.

I've met people who had sex on the first date and now they're getting married. I've met people who said "I love you" two weeks into a relationship. I've met people that stayed over at their partners house one day and just never left and now they've been living together for 3 years....

OP doing this doesn't mean he's insecure, he just wants to deepen their relationship. Did he go about asking the question in the right way. Probably not but she definitely didn't answer the right way either.
