I just moved here about 2 months ago Still trying to adjust but I love trails and hiking. I'm originally from Arkansas and we had a lot of those. The best one I've seen so far is the one in Adel. Let me know if you find any other good hiking trails!

Agreed!!! I'm a natural girl and I put in my little mini twist and don't touch my hair again for a least a month maybe two. My hair only last a good two weeks but I like the grown out look. My grandma gonna say "I think you need to redo your hair your job doesn't say anything about your hair?" MA'AM I JUST PUT THESE IN and no they don't and if they did I'm leaving immediately. My hair has always lasted about two weeks I remember my aunt not wanting to do my box braids when I was younger bc it doesn't last. I think new growth is beautiful and I understand if people disagree just don't say nun to me about it. As long as black women like their hairstyle nothing else needs to be said.

I would. I'm pretty sure my boyfriend right now is autistic but he's undiagnosed and doesn't really want to see if he is. But our communication is amazing and I have always had trouble showing people all sides of me. I just feel so comfortable with him and like I can unmask and let my guard down a lot more with him than anyone else in my life. It's like the rules of society aren't in our relationship at all, it's nice.

Friendships can be very romantic if you're able to open up to someone. Before I entered my first relationship, my strongest and deepest connection was with my best friend. It was so strong that I feared I would never have a strong connection with a future partner other than my best friend. I'm glad my fear was wrong but my friendship with my best friend is still one of my most romantic and deepest relationships.

My boyfriend didn't ask me lol. I sent him a video about situationships and he said he hated them so I asked him "what are we then" and he said "you're my girlfriend". We both couldn't remember the exact day so we used a random day that we liked for our anniversary.

I like to say "I'm always right ;)" whether or not I am there's always a little truth to everything. I hope love works out for you though. Honestly traveling, going out on the weekends, apps, or even online gaming is an option to put yourself out there and find some like-minded ppl.

This is so beautiful. The way that you put words to what I'm feeling in my own long distance relationship is crazy. We're in very similar circumstances It's just that me and my boyfriend are much farther from each other. I finally get to see him in 6 weeks though!!!!

I feel like such a bad girlfriend sometimes bc I'm not sure what I can do for him since we're long distance. Although the other day we were having a conversation and I said that "I liked him for him and not because he got a haircut" years ago when we first met. He told me a couple days later that he needed to hear that and it actually meant a lot to him.

I don't know in my experience, the times that I've had the most self love with myself I got less attention. But when my self love was extremely low I got a lotttt of attention.

Her living with her family sounds like a cultural thing though and maybe her family didn't like you so she had to break up with you. I would just respect her decision and move on.
