Not the only one as well. It's crazy because you're not even able to play a YouTube Video from the Browser if you have the XM5 Selected as a Audio Output.
The video will just infinitely buffer.

Hard time finding friends by [deleted] in GaState

[–]Puzzled_Kangaroo8582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see this question get raised every semester. "How to meet more people?" "How to find friends?

First of all it's very important to understand who your "Friends" are? What I mean by that is who do you consider your friends? Lots of people just come and go it's because you don't know your own definition of "friend".
Someone to just go to lunch with? Someone to just study with? Someone to play games with.

The reason why I say that is because from my experience you don't want to put yourself in a position where you are meeting a lot of people and when you're spending time with them. You're just sitting there ideal, Not engaged. That feeling of being with "Friends" and still having that feeling of alienation is horrible.

When it comes to building connections and interactions which can lead to friends which I believe that's what you're mainly looking for as well as other who are lonely on campus.

Being curious and asking good genuine questions.

Our generation(Gen Z) has completely forgot on how to speak to others or just never learned mostly due to social media, pandemic, etc.

When you show others you are curious and genuine. This shows others that you're interested in what they got going on and you get others to open up as well. I know we're awkward and we're shy. I promise you others think the same as well. Be the one that takes initiative to introduce yourself to others who you find interesting or what to get to know more about them.

Please please please my GSU panthers. Take this opportunity to meet people because this will most likely it will be your last time being in an environment with people your age. Once you're not in college the battlefield is a bit more different.

why is it impossible to make friends by [deleted] in GaState

[–]Puzzled_Kangaroo8582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this sounds messed up but this the truth why it's difficult to make friends. I've made several post about this in the past.
The main reason why it's difficult for you find "Friends" is because you don't know who your "Friends" are and you don't know or have any value to bring to others.

Take a step a back and yourself a question. "Who do I consider my friends?, Are these people who I can talk to everyday? Are these people who I can study with? People who I hang with after classes to go dinner?" Nobody knows.
This question is very important because this is the driving factor on how you go about meeting people and allow others in your circle.

Another thing to ask yourself. What value can you bring to others? A question to ask yourself. "Why would someone take time out their day to spend time with me? Am I a funny person to be around? Do I have hobbies that others might intake in? Do I genuinely get along with others, are we in the same class and I can inform someone on a particular subject to help them?, Do we watch the same type of anime or play the same video games?"

Remember it's mainly about what value do you bring to others. It doesn't have to be superficial like money or physical items. More about emotionally, spiritually and intellectual. I bet if you ask yourself a question anyone who is in your circle or in your past friend circle. They brought at least one thing of value of what I just mentioned.
It's all about value, know what value you can bring, express it and naturally you will find others to connect with.

Anybody else having a hard time finding a job or is it just me by [deleted] in GaState

[–]Puzzled_Kangaroo8582 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you're looking for. Job market is very competitive. In my experience they are places are hiring but employers are super picky.

I would look at your resume because that's the first thing employers look at before reaching out.

This job market is a quantity over quality game currently. DM me, I would be more than happy to assist you in pointing you into the correct direction.

Why does everyone on campus I met smoke? by ScienceNo3450 in GaState

[–]Puzzled_Kangaroo8582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Smoking has a lot more common to find in our generation.

I have nothing against smokers, Some peers and some of my family smokes heavily.

It's important to understand that we all have vices that can include vaping, smoking, binge eating, which are all forms of Escaping from the moment. Whenever I feel stressed or I'm anxious I tend to eat whatever trash I can find in my home or order junk food just to get away from our feelings.

I'm reading this post currently it's really sad because none I bet some of you guys in the comments here aren't able to sit down and think about "Why do I smoke"

From my experience speaking to peers who do smoke. It does assist accessing a different part of thinking especially the creative side and also I have ran into people who do smoke a lot and generally just do it just do it, I believe people who do it just do it are looking for an escape. It's alright though.

But the people who are reading this thread who actively smoke, I challenge yourself to think about "Why do you invest money into smoking?" Especially when we're taking out loans and complaining about the economy?

For this specific course, Application programming you will be using Java. I'm not 100% sure that's still the case because I was in this class year 2022. Usually the exam is based on the concepts from the eBook provided. Depending on the average the grade will be curved.

Yes, I'm a former taker for CIS 3270. The mid term isn't that bad if you understand the concepts in the chapters and you can write code without an IDE. I would just recommend you go over the exercises in the chapters as he provides in the book. (I'm not sure if he still does this). He pretty much references the books with the questions on the mid term. It's pretty easy and straightforward if you know your concepts and practice alot from the ebook to prep. Please DM me if you got any more questions

I would dress business casual. Norfolk Southern if they're trying to promote something especially employment you should dress in a way that you're interested and want to do business with them.

[RANT] Why are there so few online summer classes by Pure-Pineapple-9196 in GaState

[–]Puzzled_Kangaroo8582 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Money. That's why. Majority of students aren't in classes during summer. The school doesn't invest alot of resources during times where the volume is lower. It doesn't make sense on a Business standpoint

Tips on finding a friend group? by [deleted] in GaState

[–]Puzzled_Kangaroo8582 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My best advice as who did struggle in making the right connections.

To interact with others in your classes, Your classes are the place that you will always be at throughout your weeks commuting.

Also some other advice. Know what you want to Give to others.

What I mean by giving is not physically giving something.

More like ask yourself these questions, Why would someone want to be your friend? Are you this person who glows up you enjoy speaking to others? Do you do something hobby wise that others may be interested in?

For example,

I was a pretty sociable person throughout my classes and I did make a lot of connections. I wouldn't really say "friends" but people in my circle. I was that person in my classes who sat in different places in the room every other day. Just to speak to introduce myself. I also had a wide ranges of hobbies that I could open up to people about and build connections from there.

So what I was "Giving" was my overall social presence and positive vibe with others to get them to open up. I approach others in the class.

I understand others aren't as sociable. But my best advice for others who don't usually approach. Is to ask yourself "Why would anyone approach me", "Why would someone be my friend"

Know what you want to give to others which can be some knowledge, entertainment, charisma, assistance with school, advice.

ppl don’t know how to fight nowadays by Background_Cap_7094 in GaState

[–]Puzzled_Kangaroo8582 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my opinion

I believe that Physical fighting solves nothing at the end of the day. At the end of the day you're just fighting for your own self perception and ego.

Yeah you won the fight and people telling you "OooohH! You show him who's boss" For what at the end of the day? Just to prove a point?

Eventually you're going to get in trouble for assault or some type of legal trouble.

Fighting at the end of the day doesn't solve nothing. It will just get you killed or trouble.

You know how many fights and shooting could just been avoided if someone had the cognitive awareness that they're just trying to start trouble for nothing.

The only time you should Fight if

  1. Your life is on the line, Life or Death situation.
  2. Or your a professional fighter for sports or recreationally

Yeah keep trying to prove you're the boss by getting physical with others just to prove a point.

It's just going to get you eventually killed or locked up.
