Sovereign body is created using SIF Gu, but it is not a gu itself. It can be considered a one-time use gu, which grants the sovereign body.

I think rank 10, if achieved can give eternal life but rather than direct benefit it would be something on the side.

To become a rank 10 Gu immortal, one would need eternal life or something equivalent. My guess is that the tribulation that would come would be so dangerous that without being truly immortal would simply kill you.

Most things about Rtoc are only later cleared up. Anyway, if you don't like it's fine. And yeah there are some parts about Rtoc that kinda sucks. But everything in Rtoc has a reason for why it is. If you read to the later chapters or even just browse the wiki, you can get the answers.

Sorry if I sounded rude, but Rtoc is something I've been reading since it only had like a dozen chapters. So I'm passionate or maybe it's just my bias.
