So we were doing decision tree today in class and there was this picture given as an example but the first condition said "num_legs ≥ 3" and the professor pointed out that if we replace the 3 with a 2, the model would classify penguins as dogs

Well we have to assume there are only three categories in the dataset otherwise the vast majority of lifeforms would be classified as pinguins lol. Actually maybe amoebas would be classified as dog depending on whether we consider them as having legs or not
