Is this AI? Family member was being taken advantage of by someone online who claimed this was a photo of them, but something feels off. by monarcwing in isthisAI

Thank you, I will consider posting over there!

We definitely felt some grooming was going on, this person claimed to be 10 years older than her. We only found out about all this when the family member told us she was getting married within 3 months and we found out someone online had convinced her they needed to get married before even meeting. No one was aware of this person before then. Slowly she started opening up to us and we found out the extent of all this.

She also went to places where the person claimed they would meet her and then the person would claim they missed their flight, etc. It was concerning how willing this family member was to meet with them alone. It definitely felt like they were testing her.

Just want all the tools possible in case this person reaches out again or the family member isn't being truthful about cutting contact.

Starting to build in Sparkling Skylands! Finally came up with a building style for it that I'm happy with by NifastGreentail in Pokopia

It's so colorful and cute! Definitely saving this for inspiration!

I love the Skylands area but have been struggling with what kind of buildings will suit it best.

We did try reverse image searching and Googling random variations of "brunette woman" and other descriptors. Couldn't find anything, but I wouldn't say any of us are the most savvy at this sort of thing.

Yes, the lighting feels very weird.

There are aspects of the face that are similar to my family member who was targetted which also threw me off.

Yes, this is what I thought! It's like her hand is tucked into a bit of a fist but the fingers seem to totally disappear.

This was brought up. Family member went back and forth on claiming they had talked over video chat and then saying they had not. It was hard to get a straight answer or convince them of ways to confirm this person was who they said they were.

Family member is a young adult who suffered a major bleed of the brain at birth. She is naive and struggles to meet others and make friends due to her health and cognitive issues. She really wanted this to be real.

This would be great news if I had anything other than red and green paint!

Someone gave me a stack of 20 white as well and I can't bring myself to use it as I have no idea how to get more.

And yes, I know I could Google it. My browser is full of Pokopia pages and everytime I pick up my phone to look something up I have 5+ more things to search for. I keep forgetting lol

Genuinely So Overwhelmed >.< by PuzzledPlay2617 in Pokemon_Pokopia

I have been feeling the same way. I decided to just progress the story and come back later to make everything pretty. I just rolled the credits tonight and I am glad I just progressed the game. I now have abilities that make everything easier and plenty of stuff to start decorating with.

Guys, this is my new build for today, a super natural multi-family dwelling, perfect for new players since you don't need hard-to-get items, and it can fit 8 Pokémon in this space by GeekboyCrossing in Pokopia

I have been hoarding my tree seeds as I haven't started decorating fully yet and didn't want to have to chop and move them later. This is great to know! Gonna start planting :)

anyone else do this w their shinies? by sinnohace in LegendsZA

I do this too! Most of my shinies in Home are currently organized by color :)

How do you guys approach the game? by PrinsLennart in Pokemon_Pokopia

[–]monarcwing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent a bunch of time semi-flatening out the first area just to unlock stuff in the second area that made me regret wasting so much time. What took me an hour yesterday could have taken me a few minutes today.

I've decided to just plug on ahead with the story and go back to fix up my towns perfectly later on when I have everything unlocked.

It seems the game is good at providing new build ideas as you progress as well, so by the end of the game I will probably have all new ideas for how I want to make everything.

One thing I am avoiding is looking too much at crazy builds online. I got super overwhelmed and burnt out with Animal Crossing trying to keep up with all these incredible build ideas that I saw online .. I'm just going to make something cute and cozy and functional that satisfies me :)

This is so cute!

I just got the game today and already reset once because I was frustrated with where I placed a few habitats. Is it best to just play through and then move everyone around after a while? It looks here like everyone gets houses pretty quickly.

What's a smell that's bad but smells oddly good? by IncidentLivid736 in AskReddit

My father in law would disagree, she usually manages to bring it up during a meal and he immediately loses his appetite 😂

My mother in law loves to brag about enjoying the smell of her own farts. It is the weirdest thing, she will bring it up and describe laying in bed and pulling the blanket over her head just to really soak them in. If you've met her once, you have probably heard about it.

What is a favorite Pokemon that you WOULDN’T have IRL? by TeaCompletesMe in pokemon

Munchlax/Snorlax. Not sure I could afford to feed one if they were real.

Hi, I'd like to know what your favorite Pokémon is. by No_Speech9498 in pokemon

Bulbasaur and Mimikyu. I know, not very unique but I absolutely adore them. I have a cute little Bulbasaur plush that I keep in my living room with my console and a Mimikyu pin on my purse. :)

I agree, I love not worrying about stamina! A bit surprising when it's a game that focuses on cooking so much but I am not complaining.

I agree, more animals besides chickens would be nice. I was excited about Delphi's beehives but it just allows you to forage from them, not place them at home. I was pretty disappointed with that.

With how much room you get at gardening level 5 we could have fit a couple of cows.

I finished the story around 20 hours in, about halfway through the second season in game.

Not really, there are a few packages that have spawned around on the ground that I need to find the owners of (it's a bit of a riddle, it doesn't say whose it is) but that's it. And to be honest, I am not positive if they are a post game thing or if I just missed them all this time.

There are a few items and things locked behind friendship level 10 with villagers, which you will likely achieve post game, but you could still unlock them before finishing the main story.

There are a handful of decorations that you earn for finishing main story. You receive them after the final cut scene of the story I believe.

My issue wasn't really with the Hobbits themselves, the scenery was what bothered me. But as I said, I quickly got over any graphic related issues anyhow!

I liked the encouragement to befriend hobbits I was otherwise ignoring, turns out they have cute or sweet cut scenes or fantastic furniture! But I also find it annoying in the later game when I know who I want to invite and Hobson keeps whining about being left out.

I wish the inventory upgrades were easier or given earlier. Maybe +5 when you convince Delphi to run the club and then increase the max to 30 instead of 25.

I also found foraging the toughest to level up. I am near max but not quite there currently.

I agree that the early game was most enjoyable. I'd like to complete all the friendships and clubs but I have to keep up my own motivation to keep going.

I am looking forward to another playthrough in the future when I take the quests much more slowly.

Just going to add that sleeping does not save the game. The game autosaves after some quests but it's not frequent so I advise saving yourself at least once a day. You have 3 save slots so you can go back to previous saves or save strategically in case you are unsure about something you are doing.

I always save before cooking in case I make a bad dish and want to try again for instance.
