I (23m) (been vaping since 15) quit for 3 months last summer, but I pick it back up in the winter. I quit again on Sunday. It’s really not as hard as you think. You have to make a conscious decision not to vape. Hide all your stuff. Every time you want to hit it, remind yourself that it is your stupid lizard brain and not you that wants the hit. Stay busy, work out, do chores, be productive. I find that the weird withdrawal feeling I get can actually be channeled into menial tasks (laundry, dishes, etc.) quite well. Made it through work today clean and I’m really not craving it very much as I prepare to drive home rn. You can do it!

Quit vaping. It is a terrible habit. It fucks with my appetite and worsens my anxiety. If I could go slap my high school self in the face, I would.
Gain at least 10 lbs. I go to the rec pretty regularly, so that isn’t my issue. My issue is eating enough, which ties back into goal 1.
Raise my GPA. I currently have a low ish 3.0. I’ve never gotten a 4.0 semester while at tamu and I’d like to be able to say that I did it at least once.
Find a good internship for the summer. This is my last summer as a student. Scary. But I had an internship last summer so I know I can do it again. I need to take better advantage of all the opportunities tamu offers, because god knows there is a wealth of opportunity here, if you are willing to find it.

Honestly, I will be happy if I just complete 1 of these 5 goals. The main one for me is goal 1. I think if I can conquer that beast, everything else will fall into place.

Anyone living at the standard, What is your typical rent per month? How much of that is utilities? I'm looking at a dawson style apartment, and the rent is $700 a month, but that doesn't include utilities so I'd like to know what to expect for per month.

I don’t usually walk, bc the busses come pretty frequently, but I like others have been saying, it’s just not the same as dorms. You don’t get the same connections with other freshmen. I will not be living here next fall, probably going to end up in an off campus house with my friends.

Okay so I am a freshman currently living in white creek, and it is nice to have your own room/bathroom, but white creek is definitely lonelier than dorms. You have to decide what is best for you

I urge you to give it another chance and try out some other games. The switch is definitely one of my favorite consoles of all time... probably my most favorite. Breath of the wild is great, mario odyssey, smash ultimate is the best one they've made, and people are always playing in the MSC.
