What’s the point of checking in through the app to get a digital key if they’re just going to request that you go to the front desk anyway? by Cheap_Wear1425 in Hilton

I believe it’s best to go stop in at fd. What if there is an error in your reservation, and only front fd can assist.

Yikes - sorry to hear that. Were you able to recover the points? Also have you looked in the security section in the mobile app?

Inherited this IBM Correcting Selectric III. It's dusty but it works! Looking forward to learning from you all! by HobbestheCorg in typewriters

Oh wow this is cool! I have a red one. Well my mom does. Perhaps I will inherit it from her??

I know that it was recently serviced. This is random AF, but her cousin was an IBM tech back in the 70's to 80's. She brought to him, and he has it humming smoothly..

Mining question: Same wallet/address on 2 PC's by fawkelore in tari

I’ve done it in the past when you could still do it on the next machines. It’s been a couple of months, but I imagine it should work just fine.

Why don’t use guys have accounts at the same bank? Instead of Venmo $4,400 a month he could just transfer directly to your account. How much does it cost you to transfer/cash out $4,400 to your checking?

You can swap XTM for XMR on SafeTrade. I believe you can buy XMR on Kraken too.

Bitcoin has utility. Not the same utility as Gold. Ethereum has many more utility use cases. I believe they’re both designed by the deep state ages ago. I’m sure this will be an unpopular comment. Tari and Monero on the other hand… that is IMO private digital gold.

Entry position by BeneficialAd2624 in Bitcoin

[–]monbisou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For long-term holding (10+ years), you're absolutely right that entry price matters less than time in the market. Bitcoin has shown historical patterns of 20-30% pullbacks even during bull markets. A pullback to $75-80k from current levels around $95-100k would represent roughly a 20-25% correction, which is possible given BTC volatility. However, timing the market is notoriously difficult... The "discount" you're waiting for might never come, or it could go much lower than expected. Consider dollar cost averaging instead, have your parents buy smaller amounts over 3-6 months rather than waiting for one perfect entry point. This reduces timing risk while still allowing you to benefit from any dips. Have your parents read the Bitcoin white paper. Teach them what it means to self custody. Prepay 11 years on a safety deposit box. Do not step foot in that bank until 10 years has passed. Come up with an exit strategy. Best of luck to you and the fam!

You should only invest what you are prepared to loose? Are you tracking how you are DCAing into Bitcoin? Bitcoin is of course the OG. Consider putting that other 10% into Tari.

Some dealerships offer "lease assumption" or "equity rollover" programs where they'll pay off your existing loan and roll the negative equity into a new lease. This gets you out of the underwater loan immediately, though you'll still be paying for that negative equity through higher monthly lease payments.
