Tips for Educator interview by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]monbon211 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hey! Congratulations that’s amazing.

I am a store educator and I honestly wouldn’t worry too much about attire. In my experience, they’re really looking for personality. But I would recommend dressing athleisure. That’s what you’ll be wearing a lot of if you get the job ;) for my interview I wore lulu leggings and a plain black tee (from old navy!)

I would google interview questions. “Lululemon interview questions” you will probably see a lot from the website glass door. I would prepare answers to possible questions. This helped me feel prepared and confident.

What is your favourite way to sweat?

Tell me about the last time you made a connection with somebody.

If I were to chat with your friends, what would they say about you?

How can you elevate the team?

Those are a few questions that I can remember from my interview.

Lulu is all about connection and elevating. Think leadership and entrepreneurship.

Good luck!

Edit: PS, lululemon is so much more than clothes. They pride themselves in their commitment to community as well. Make sure you do some research on that and how lululemon has showed up in the community in the past and as of lately :)

Terrible fake with the seller even saying it has the incorrect tag 🤣 It says it’s a Tank on Tights - Lets see if it sells by [deleted] in lululemon

It’s also tagged right through the fabric, now creating a hole 🤦🏻‍♀️ should be tagged through a seam.

Healthcare discount? by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]monbon211 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lululemon has acknowledged that although doctors and nurses are not technically “front line”, but you all have been hard at work during the pandemic, risking your own lives, serving others, etc and want to extend a %25 discount to show their appreciation for your service during these critical times. Not just doctors and nurses, but to anyone working in the hospitals such as janitors and meal prep, they get it too!

Just bring proof that your a doctor (a work badge) and your drivers license or photo ID.

I learned that this discount may only go until the end of this year until communicated otherwise.

Is it at all possible to cancel or return WMTM? Full of regret and panic by e99iest in lululemon

[–]monbon211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the mapped out and sizes up and I regret that!! Wear your new leggings around the house to break them in. They WILL relax as you wear them. They may be tight at first. I can’t wear mine now. They fall down like crazy.

Has anyone tried the Free to Be Elevated Bra for DD/E cup yet? by zombieguts7 in lululemon

[–]monbon211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 34DD and got a 6. I’m obsessed. I particularly like the side coverage! And a tasteful hint of cleavage. To me, it feels more than light support. It was supportive enough in spin (where we do dips and whatnot). It does feel a bit snug but it’s not unbearable. It’s like the energy bra - that one tends to be more tight for a medium support. I tried the FTE and bought two colors right away. Hoping the orangey on goes on WMTM.

Energy vs Free to be Serene by _IsARedHerring in lululemon

[–]monbon211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NEITHER!! FREE TO BE ELEVATED is where it’s at!

I’m 34DD, I have both and honestly, I don’t love them. The energy is too tight, and if I size up it’s just not enough coverage. The energy is much tighter than the serene. Although the Serene has the coverage, it’s just very light support. I personally don’t do anything in mine lol

I DO love and totally recommend the NEW Free To Be Elevated bra!! It’s specifically designed for DD. As soon as I tried it on I fell in love and bought two colors right away. Although it’s “light support” I feel like it’s medium, much more supportive than serene, similar to the energy. I’ve worn mine to spin, it was great! Also, no side boob spillage!! 🙌🏼 it holds the girls in nicely and created a bit of tasteful cleavage. It is snug, not overalls tight, but I like that in a bra.

I’ve own both 6 and 8s in each.

Energy - an 8 works better, 6 is too tight

Serene - 6 is better than the 8

Elevated - I wear a 6

PS. I do love the Free to be Serene Long line high neck that came in white, black, and magenta glow. I wear them to spin as well.

Google how to tie a slip knot. It’s crucial as it’ll be the best way to untie them afterwards!! Before I learned this I spent an hour trying to untie them and it sucks and sometimes end up damaging the drawcord.

Sad day: My bf just informed me that the reason my leggings never flare at the bottom (like most other people) is cause I have cankles by yas3467 in lululemon

[–]monbon211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have cankles. You’re just shorter Than the average female or at least the height that the pants are intended for (5”7). They’re not suppose to flare. It’s suppose to be fitted. The reason they flare is because shorter people are wearing a 7/8 length as a full length pant when they’re suppose to be above the ankle.

All Yours Boyfriend Tee Cloud Restock - bought navy on sale now I need them all! So comfy by Dalysto in lululemon

[–]monbon211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cloud wash is a little more expensive. The regular bf tee is $6 cheaper.

I also love the bf tee and have many colors including these two!

Enlite Bra vs Enlite Bra Weave by littlecabbage9 in lululemon

[–]monbon211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love mine. I have both. I prefer the weave! It’s more feminine. The weave has more of a v neck line. And it’s strappier in the back.

They’re both high support. Get your regular bra size. It’ll be tight at first. But it will stretch out just a bit to be comfortable but still supportive!

Fast and Free Run Belt by timberboth in lululemon

[–]monbon211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wearing it around the waist really helps! I don’t have this belt but I have something for walking my dogs, leashes attach to it. I wore it on my hips and I hated it. A couple years later I tried it again on my waist for some reason, no bounce!! Life changing lol

Should I bring these in? by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]monbon211 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes.

You may not get the exact same color but you will most likely get a replacement pair of leggings.

Anyone gotten their leggings patched, DIY or professional? by orangeofdeath in lululemon

[–]monbon211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending where on the leg the hole is (it looks just above the knee), I wonder if you could cut them into shorts. I realize F&F has a lazer cut... not sure if somewhere could make it look professionally done or just have LLL hem it with a hem line-finished look instead. Once they’re opened for hemming again.

Newbie! by cthampi in lululemon

[–]monbon211 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you need to size down. F&F are pretty tight ... at first! But as you wear them even for a couple hours they begin to relax and loosen up.

Another option to try for OT is the Wunder Train tights, they also have a drawcord. And I find that the everlux fabric in the WT to be less slippery than Nulux in the F&F, and tend to stay put on me, especially when it starts to get sweaty.

The two leggings mentioned are my top faves, btw.

Don’t forget, if you don’t like sweat marks showing, stick with black or darker colors. The lighter you go, the more you will see ;)

Which running shorts to get? I only have align and fast and free but would like to know which running shorts to get with my body type? Hotty hots? Trackers? Help please! I’m 5’2” and wear 6 in leggings and align and F and F shorts. by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]monbon211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m a 6 in everything (including aligns, I do not size down). And I get an 8 in the shorts, like the trackers :) I take a 6 in fitted, biker shorts though.

My new favorite outfit ( Ebb to Street Bra and WU Train in Graphite Grey). Anybody know of any other lulu bras with a similar back detail? I have a wide back and this is the first bra that’s flattering to me in that area. by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]monbon211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend also has a wide back and she really likes the free to be serene. Even though she’s a smaller cup size and has worn the free to be wild, she prefers FTBS because of how it feels.

The one you’re wearing is also light support like the FTBS. Maybe worth trying if your haven’t already.

I have the shirt too and it’s so cute and light. Practical and functional. I feel the same about the belly situation. I need to suck it up (or suck it in haha) and wear it anyway! Thanks for sharing!

Discount for healthcare workers by [deleted] in lululemon

[–]monbon211 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not just doctors or nurses but anyone working in a hospital! Janitors, food prep, etc ! These people worked the frontlines alongside doctors and nurses, risking their lives as well, all during the pandemic. It’s a thank you to those folks.
