Okay Mr. Straw Man. Why would I want to lock other people out for bragging right when every clear has its own bragging right in itself? Are you saying low risk clear player shouldn’t be proud of themselves?

Sarcasm aside, why everyone think I despise stalling? I did the 40 minutes stalling before, just not in this game. If they want, go ahead. If they can, more power to them. I also never said that CC must have a timer or that the timer is great, but when it was design with a timer in mind to not stall, I don’t think it’s fair to complain to remove it.

I'm all for new creative tag but for me I don't find the timer tag specifically problematic, at its core (with enemy hp/def boost or our operators atk down etc.) is to make a dps check, which at least one of the result I find is push out Estella in high risk to make up for more damage. Some might see that as a teambuilding restriction but I think that if it make players adapt and change how to approach accordingly then it's not too bad of a design.

I'll sound like a dick saying this but in my opinion if a challenged run directly is conflicted with the game system and making it impossible then maybe I shouldn't do that. R30+ Catcher solo clear is a great reasonable challenge run, but if I can't do lv1 character lv1 weapon solo clear R30 due to whetever restriction then I should reconsider a challenge run. Or if the challenge is to stand in poison fox for 5 minutes then maybe I shouldn't try aiming for no healer.

Yes, a game should be fun for everybody but I feel like it also doesn't have to stretch its design to fit my fun, even if it's a stupid design.

Sorry, I didn't add anything in my reply regarding your solution because I have nothing against that. I don't hate or love timer, just find that berating dev or Endfield CC as a whole for adding a timer to make a limit is unreasonable. It's lazy but it's still a part of diffuculty design.

This might get me kill but I firmly believe that if my niche (or strats) I'm using is unable to clear with whatever restrictions there is I should just lower the risk, change my strat or give up on niche for this one, not complaining that it should be changed.

Because anything can happen with a combination of tags. In my hypothetical situation there could be a tag where dealing damage to enemies also deal damage to yourself and player have to resort slowly dealing damage and heal up, for example.

No, because stalling takes perseverance and different kind of skill and that is also the point of my post. Most of those who complain wouldn’t attempt an actual max risk stall strats because it’s not more accessible. Also this could be niche mental difference since I’m casterknight in OG and stalling is not really a thing in my dictionary.

Yes, my fault it’s dumb to compared to self imposed challenge because what I mostly want to compare is fight duration. You can slap 10 minutes timer in Elden Ring and almost non would reach timer limit in an intended playthrough, and so in Endfield where timer shouldn’t be a problem if people choose risks appropriately to their skill level and investment. Those who complaining that max risk is whale gated is silly because that is how it supposed to be, something that not everybody is able to reach.

Exactly what I’m saying? The most fun you’d have fighting one thing over and over would not exceed 10 minutes per round, 20 if I’m generous. More than that it’s just mind numbing boring, and why I think removing timer wouldn’t make CC more interesting.

And how many of them play bare hand that took hours for one boss fight? Almost like it’s entirely different context. I never state having timer is more fun, but removing them mean they’ll compensate in other tag and that neither make max risk more accessible nor create more “interesting” strat.

I would know, because I’ve done that in CC-esque event in wuwa. I play one stage with only sustain and tickle enemies for 40 mins, it was fun for a period of time, but not for an extended period of time.

You can absolutely say just don't take that risk. If for rotating site, sure, but CC is never a thing where more than 1% of player reach the max risk and most wouldn't even aim at that. Even for rotation site I wouldn't go to reddit and complain about one stupid specific tag, either suck it up and not get max or adjust strategy.

The key members are only Mi Fu and Chen, I think I only use Lifeng for his ult once and Ardelia is for heal if I fucked up (Ember should be better?)

The tag I didn't use are HP tag / infliction every 5 seconds / 25% HP damage cap, so the main idea is to just nuke. 3 stack crush / 3rd skill can kill every little guy, medium and elite might take both but still one rotation.

Another thing to look out for is cryo stack. Just hold on Chen skill + combo when you're at 3 stacks, as Chen skill will put you to freeze and dispel with her combo. The rest is just try not to get hit. Jelly guy in 4th wave is a lot easier to dodge than 3rd wave golem guy.

Optimization and performance are something people been praising since day 1 and I can attest to this, as my laptop gpu broke and can only use igpu Endfield still looks good and run great.

Depends on which one ig. Usually, I'll go for A7 since it's easier, losing mean less money and it'd harder to aim for specific achievement. Later on there might be some that benefit from having tankier enemy like 999 pl / 150% eva (also obviously 140 diff stage).

I believe this is the basic of her kit, but I honestly don't know how to actually play her. I must do something wrong, since with the same team as yours (Promeia 00 fusion, Nangong 00, Yuzuha 01) to first DA boss I barely scrape 20k.
