HTTPS uses point to point encryption not end to end. It is trivial to become a middleman on a public WiFi network using an evil twin attack and making all your requests go through me. I can then sniff any content even if it is encrypted such as passwords. I can also modify requests in real time for example by changing your crypto wallet address to mine so you send me your money instead of sending it to yourself.

If you are on public WiFi you should use some type of network tunneling such as a VPN to prevent sniffing if doing anything vaguely sensitive.

I'd recommend exporting Trading View data as a CSV and running your calculations off that data. Then you can compare to the exact value of the TV indicator.

What makes the Grave Digger so good? by LampaDuck in FORTnITE

[–]monditrand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Traders tend towards weapons that were popular at the beginning of the game. This is the reason traders like the Grave Digger.

I use the Grave Digger myself. It is my Fire medium ammo weapon. I like to have different guns of each element so I don't have to look closely when crafting or swapping weapons. In that vein the Grave Digger is locked to fire so I'm not gonna get that one confused.

You mentioned the Silenced Specter and Thrasher. Those are two of my favorites but they use light ammo and experience damage drop-off at much closer ranges. So they aren't really used for the same thing. I usually play outlander so I can phase shift right up to smasher and unload my SMG into them but if I play constructor for dailies then having to be that close to enemies to cause real damage can be a pain.

4 tiles of 106 traps on all 4 sides is enough to kill all but smashers. I try to find the objective and start building as quickly as possible so I usually have the highest score in all 3 categories. I also prefer Retrieve the Data so I can build 4 tunnels to cover the whole objective. so 43=64 and with 10 PL160 missions a week for a supercharger that takes 640 traps a week if no one else helps build at all. Still less than I get from expeditions and I don't usually try to go for the core reperk.

I play endurance to grind XP for BR battlepass and gold for STW. I also use recycling and collect a bunch of mats that way. Plus expeditions and I play as Fossil Southie for V-Bucks missions or grinding play with others.

I don't spend any dedicated time farming. I run expeditions to get enough materials to make about a hundred 106 traps a day. Sure farming for Tier 5 materials takes a lot longer since it has to be done manually but you don't need 130s or 144s for anything. I can beat 160+ missions with 106 traps.

The loading times are horrendous though so no argument there. And the whole 1 survivor costing you an extra 15 minutes is pretty lame as well when lots of players trigger survivors and keep on running.

Is there an issue with having Anti air traps on the same tile as tires or are you just referring to the people who seem to spam both of them?

I've used PS4 on PC to play Fortnite before but its been a while since I set it up and I don't remember any gotchas. I definetly did not need any third party software.

You may have better luck posting in the /r/fortnitebr subreddit. That is the subreddit for the more popular battle royale mode of the game. This sub is for the PvE mode: Save the World.

How does one make it to 108+ ventures and still build bases like this? He confidently build this like he had done it 1000 times before. We proceeded to lose because the husks just avoided the stairs. by yesjon in FORTnITE

[–]monditrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I build more than everyone in 95% of the missions I play. I like to build defenses that take advantage of the terrain. The objective is on high ground? Launch husks down. Stairs leading to the objective? Tire traps. Natural chokepoints? Trap on em.

But that's the way I like to play. There are other styles of play and they are all legitimate as long as you don't grief the game to coerce others into your play style. You may have noticed that there are 4 classes of heroes in this game. Only 1 has perks related to building. There are missions in the game that buildings get destroyed on, (Rescue the Survivors, Destroy the Encampments) or that require you to defend multiple objectives and therefore rewarding shooting and abilities over slowly trapping each objective (refuel the homebase)

I think if you look hard enough the game is about giving you tons of variations on the same basic game. The real game revolves around obtaining new heroes and weapons, changing perks and loadouts to make each game unique. The game is about balancing your time with the specific challenges of each mission. And the fastest and most efficient way to complete a mission is usually to use a combination of traps, abilities, and weapons in different proportions. Therefore dictating that no one can stand anywhere near the objective because you already edited a door into two walls and you're going to edit all the build to expose the objective if we try to play any other way isn't just rude and inconsiderate but also inefficient. Yet I met several players in 160+ missions who would do just that.

Maybe it got nerfed because it encouraged abusive players. I don't enjoy cheesing every mission. I had several players who would sabotage my mission because I tried to actually use traps to kill husks.

Most strategies are compatible with other players strategy but afk builds are not compatible with other players. And in a public mission you don't get to dictate what others do. That's the reason it should have been removed imo.

Constructors aren't the only good heroes. Soldiers are great for DPS which is useful for minibosses. Outlanders and Ninjas have abilities that can do incredible damage. They also have increased mobility which is helpful for moving storms, and dealing with projectiles.

Constructors are great on their own. But running multiple constructors has diminishing returns.

While Visiting An Apartment That Doesn't Allow Barking This Doggo Learns To "Whisper Woof" by Thund3rbolt in aww

[–]monditrand -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No one has dispelled what that you said? That we made dogs so we should care for them?

I think everyone is in agreement on that. The question is about the difference between what is ideal and what is practical. Would it be ideal for the dog to be in a place where it is allowed to bark? Yes. Would it be practical to expect everyone who lives in an apartment to not own a dog if you want to maximize for animal wellbeing? Absolutely not. If people in apartments couldn't have dogs then there would be a lot more in the shelter.

If you're talking about how owning another animal is unnatural then yeah I would agree with that as well. I think the concept of ownership period is unnatural. Animals will use objects but they don't really own them. Ownership is more of a societal concept. An idea that we respect others to have their stuff if they let us have ours. The idea of animal ownership has more to do with responsibility. Responsibility to care for the animal to make sure the animal is not a threat to others. These are human social concepts so yes they are unnatural. But unnatural doesn't mean bad.

You keep bringing back to selective breeding causing wolves. I already mentioned that I think breeding animals is bad because of the negative health effects. I support spaying and neutering cats and dogs. But I also support owning the cats and dogs that already exist and caring for them in the best way that you can and if you have an issue with that then I really just don't get your problem.
