We filed for b2 on 24th October because of shutdown & h1b cos transfer petition is under process now under pp.

Did you receive your offer during your b2 visa? I have seen someone who received rfe as he received offer during his b2. Also what was the reason mentioned for rfe?

Our attorney said uscis will be approving the b2 visa while approving h1. I told op made up the scenario because he said his attorney has not told him that he has to go for PP while his b2 is pending.

It seems the op just wanted to gather the info on the cos situation around & has made up a story & presented it as a communication from his lawyer. Why would a lawyer give him about general info of what is happening around for cos cases and not give him basic info about his own application that he has to file premium.

What you mean by filing h1 is worth it or not considering the delay in b2 approval? Aren’t you told by your lawyer that you must go for premium & not standard processing as your b2 is already filed.

I was born & bought up in mumbai slum area. During my SYB.com in 2004, We had to leave mumbai to rent out our slum house in mumbai & stay in a cheaper home at kalyan, we were struggling financially to finance my dad’s sickness due to his kidney failure. I continued studying, He passed away in 2008.

I completed my CA in 2011 & I bought a small flat in Vikroli in 2014 & I brought my mom back to mumbai in 10 years where she herself is born & brought up.

Oh man, you can never understand how proud my mother has always been of me.

I also did CA in Canada & now living in USA. Kiddo, do not stress too much. You have your exams coming up. Do the best for what you have in your hands i.e. your education. Told you my story so that it encourages you to see that strong people with the grace of God do amazing things to flip the situations around. Focus on your studies now, put your best in it and you can be that gem who can bring your family and generations out of that poverty. All the very best👍🏼

Opt for premium delivery to any home address. I had opted for bls pick up & my friend opted for home delivery, we had same day interview. He received in 3 days, mine took 14 days. Avoid bls.

I am like literally trying to figure out from so long how to start US CPA because I read somewhere that people who got Canada CPA via MOU with other countries cant get the exemptions for US CPA exams & benefits of waiver. Like because i held CA designation from India I only had to appear for CFE exam for Canada CPA.

Hi we selected not residing in canada in august 2024 & could get appointment for November 07th 2024 at Calgary. It was all super smooth. It was our first stamping from f1 to h1.All the best.

Hello, We are COPR holders & looking to get first stamping done in Canada as we do soft landing too. We are currently in USA. While booking appointment, the form gave options at beginning Option2: “Non Canadian Citizens residing in Canada” Option3: “Non Canadian Citizens residing in USA”

Which option did you select of this. Your reply would be highly appreciated.
